just wanted to say hi from the Guest house at Sanford airport!!! Had a good holiday although exhausting and managed to survive Hurrican Charley though some areas did get hit pretty badly and are still without water and power.
Though the holiday has been good, I wish I could say the same for TCD - we were delayed for over 10 hours on the flight out here - and that was 4 hours initially with the screens being updated every hour and nobody could tell us anything - and we were given 5 pound vouchers!! and guess what? we arrived at Sanford for our 2145 flight home to be told it has been delayed to 0330 - so far and were given $12 vouchers - what a joke!!!! We have work and relatives, cabs and dog sitters we need to call but can't because of the time difference. I will be sending a really strong letter to TCD on my return - especially since the flight out here wrote a day off our holiday - we were too exhausted to do anything - and now I have it all to endure again - oh what joy!!!
Anyway, I have been making notes through the holiday so will do some trip reports when I get back - with the highlights and lowlights of the trip (hmmmm - I wonder what the lowlights could be!)
