Hi, guys!

Despite being 36 years old, I've never been a huge Disney person. My almost 12-year old hasn't either, really. He's been all about superheros as long as I can remember. The first time we went to Orlando, he knew he wanted to visit Universal and we did.

However recently, with us both being really big Halloween lovers, we heard of MNSSHP. I feel like I've been living under a rock! Anyway, that leads us to heading to Disney the FIRST time for him. I was fortunate enough to have stayed at Yacht Club for a work conference recently. I caught an itty-bitty Disney bug. I also visited Disney as a child many, many years ago.

Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm sure you will see me posting/asking questions about all things villains. ;-)

Welcome! I literally just joined yesterday myself, though I've been to Disney World and Disneyland before. But hey, same age! And sort of the same story - went to Disney once for one day as a child, and didn't think about it all throughout my 20's... until we decided on a whim to go to Orlando for Universal. Then it reawakened the bug planted in me as a kid. :)

The Halloween party is great, and probably my favorite Parade and Fireworks out of all of them. You should have a blast!

Hi!

Our stories DO sound pretty similar. I would hear people talk about Disney and I'd roll my eyes. This recent trip for work really shocked me. I LOVED just being at the resort. It was such a great time. When I heard of MNSSHP and heard about the different villains there, I about lost my mind. Lol Halloween truly is my favorite holiday. I'm looking forward to our visit and am waiting patiently for both MNSSHP and the Hallowishes Dessert party tickets to go on sale. I'm also hoping Club Villain will occur, (I've been doing ALLLL the research).

Are you planning a trip soon?

Actually going in June. :) Should be paying off the reservation here after payday, already have everything lined up! Glad to hear you've been doing your research - I have to admit that I really enjoyed the research and planning that went into the first trip I organized myself, but I'm a nerd like that I guess.

I hadn't gotten to do the Villain Club, but I hope it returns as well! If anything it feels worth it just to get to meet a Queen of Hearts face character - I really, really hope she ends up in the parks sometime!

By GOD, I research EVERYTHING. So I am for sure researching the heck out of this - and loving it.

I am actually pretty angry that I've already booked a cruise for July with my son so we can't go any sooner than October to Disney. :-( But that's perfect for Halloween!

Is there a go-to resort you guys like to stay at? I'm probably going to rent a DVC spot. I honestly don't even care where.
