So happy that I found this website. It's so active and I've found so many interesting topics and helpful info since I joined yesterday. Thanks to the community.
My wife and last went to DLR about 6 or 7 years ago and we just took our two little boys for the first time on Dec 27th and 28th. Of course, this happened to be two of the busiest days and of course it was so busy, they actually turned people away. Never the less, it was well worth the trip to see the kids have so much fun on the rides and we actually got a picture with Mickey in his holiday clothes and my older son love that so much. We watched the parade and saw the fireworks and the kids just loved it and it brought back a lot of memories for my wife and I and def created a lot of new memories for us. Hopefully, when the kids grow up, they can say that they remember riding Autopia with mom and dad and take their kids. I know that's what I said when I rode on Autopia for the first time with my kids.
Then we went last Monday with my parents which were last there with me about 26 years ago. This was their first time to DLR with the grandkids so they were having a blast. We wore them out as we were there at 9am and stayed for the fireworks but they def had an awesome time and enjoyed spending it with their grandkids.
We plan to go back on Feb 5th for the Lunar New Year Celebration and we're planning to visit Mickey in Frontierland and hopefully get a picture with him in his Lunar New Year Costume. We also have reservations for Ariel's for the WOC showing at 8pm and we're really excited to see that as we've never seen it before.
