hi everyone, back last night from a very magical christmas trip!!!

had a fantastic time, crammed in so much, went on so much, met loads of characters - so much to tell, but wil do a trip report for you tomorrow- with photos

just one quickie though - eurostar at marne la vallee delayed last night for 4 1/2 hrs !!!!! - freezing cold station, gave us freezing cold food!! lots of tired children!! oh what joy to end a great holiday !!!

anyone else at the station last night ????

Shame about the train home :goodvibes
Looking forward to hearing all about your trip :)

Yikes!!! :scared1: What an end to your trip!

Anyway, glad you had a fabulous time......welcome back!! :goodvibes

How horrible and frustrating for you. :headache: I was stuck at CDG on Sunday night after they cancelled 2 out of 3 of the last flights to Heathrow. I felt most sorry for the families with very young children. We finally flew at 10pm, and the family next to me had been waiting over 6 hours with 3 children under the age of 7!

yes we were there on boxing day night-what a disappointment that was 4 1/2
hours delay -did't get home till 4 am should have been 12am---thou the holiday was worth it just spoilt it abit with eurostar

thanks

oh forgot don't forget eurostar will refund you for your return tickets:}

we came home dec 24th and our train was delayed while we were on it-but only by 45 minutes...we just sat there! (So much for saving time on the new route!) ha!

hiya everyone

yes the delays at the end were a bit of a pain.

but all the children that were there, were so well bahaved, considering how late and tired they were,

my DD sat in a group of about six children and they all played picochat on their ds'

my DS just fell asleep !! (typical boy)

hi gadget, yep already sent my return tickets back to them to get a refund for the homeward journey

will start a full trip report tomorrow

warebears - i have your coin!!!!

thanks for everyones very helpful advice and tips, it really did make it good

just a quickie though

GOOD POINTS ---- EVERYTHING !!!:cool1:

BAD POINTS - the delays!! and the PUSHING!!!! - maybe it was cos it was christmas, but i have never known it like this before

P>S - how do i add my photos on here

We arrived on 26th December, but changed at Lille Europe, so were on the Brussels train. Our train seemed to take far longer than usual to cross through the tunnel, and was late arriving at Lille by about 15 minutes. Thankfully our connecting train was sat on the opposite platform waiting for us, but I did begin to wonder if we would miss it once I realised we wouldn't have so much time to transfer!

I am beginning to think the direct train to DLP is the way to go from now on!! Although they were fully booked on Xmas Eve, but for a little more money it's so worth being hassle free!!
:thumbsup2

we went via Lille last in dec 2006 and never again! the station was freezing cold and my DD1 was so cold and miserable... and a 3 month old baby as well... and to top it all up, a moron on the train rolling his eyes back when he saw us with two kids and lots of disney bags... the highlight of out journey was when my DD1 threw up on his trousers (accident) and he asked me to clean them:eek:

I love the direct train and wouldn't change it for anything... the people on the train are lovely, lots of little children and all happy coming back from the magic!
