Just wanted to say hi to all! My family and I are really looking forward to our trip December 13-20, 2008. My husband and I went to the world for our honeymoon almost ten years ago!! So it has been awhile!

My daughter will turn 9 during this trip. I had special T-shirts made for her and my son, for their very first trip to Disney World!! And I will get the birthday button when we go to the parks. Any other advice on making the birthday more special?

For your daughter's birthday, it may be nice to have a meal at restaurant where she can see her favorite Disney character. (Make your reservations ASAP!!) She may also enjoy the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Downtown Disney. http://www.wdwinfo.com/downtown/marketplace/index.htm#bibbidi

I think there's a first time button too. Are you going to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party? Read the Theme Parks and Attractions forum. There's lots of info there. I'm sure whatever you do would be special for them. The decorations for Christmas are great. They have the different Santas at EPCOT. The Osborne lights are beautiful.
