Hi all Im back

well it was quite the week.
The funeral went really well, my husband gave the Eulogy and it was beautiful. It was a nice ceremony you could tell how much Grandpa was loved! lots of tears were shed and lots of laughter as well. It was a fitting tribute.


We happened to be in Calgary over the Stampede week so we took our neice and had a great time with her. We really "bonded" it was great to spend time with her.

Lots of family time and lots of remembering. I think it was a big help to all.

Anyway, dh and I drove 13 hours yesterday to get home so we're pretty well beat today but it was worth it. I really missed my kids!!! My mom was here with them and I think they pretty well wore her out. But everyone survived.

SO what did I miss while I was gone for the week?

Welcome back. I'm glad the ceremony etc. went well and that you got to spend time with your family.

It sounds like your grandpa was very much loved and will live on in memories for all time to come.
