Have you been to WDW mid to late September?? My DH and I are thinking about Sept 21-28! I am hoping to hear some good reviews about weather and crowd control!! Thanks in advance, Kristen

We went 3 years ago during that time frame and the crowds were low but the weather was extremely HOT!!!! Over all I'm sure consistantly it is a good time to go...

We go at that time of year every year and we love it. Maybe we have been lucky but we have never had a hurricane bring any real problems but its been close a couple of times. I have never really noticed the heat even though I know its usually pretty warm while we are there. I think its because it isnt as crowded that time of year and we do most of our touring in the morning and return to our resort in mid-afternoon to rest and swim and then to head out to do something else. I really think its a great time of year to go and we will probably be there when you are.

I love it at that time of year. The weather is usually in the 80's. Rain on several days--lasts usually about 30 minutes or so, then right back to the sunshine. Crowds are light, you might have to wait up to 20 minutes for some of the more popular rides. The hours are a little shorter, of course, but we never found that to be a problem because you can breeze through the attractions so much quicker with the smaller crowds. The only downside is that there is usually only spectomagic on Saturday nights. (tough to catch--and not worth admission just to that--if you travel Sat - Sat like we normally do) I think you'll love it in September! Especially weekdays at the parks!:) :)

We went 9/23-9/29 2001. The weather was great! 2 really hot days, but the rest were easier to take. We also had one rainy morning(EE day) which cleared by about 10:00am.

Crowds were nonexistent and we only waited in about 5 lines the whole week, the longest of which was 15 minutes. I think that was more because of 9/11. Im not sure if every September is that deserted.

:D We have gone to Disney the past three Septembers. It is warm & usually humid. We have had rain showers but they never last very long. There are hardly any waits to get on the rides. About half the rides we have been able to walk on to & the longest we may have waited for any ride may have been ten minutes. We are going again this September & hopefully it will be the same.
