I've been MIA for a bit but I'm back again.
We've just moved again, hopefully for the last time. My DH has finally retired from the Army! YEA!
My youngest son, 8 w. HFA, has handled this move well. He does the big transitions fine, it's the little ones that throw him.
Anyways, as a bit of humor, here is my son's dream vacation as he's planned it...
People: Him, his big bro, Mom and Dad, Grandma and Grandpa, Nana M. and Grandma Foxy, Aunt L and Uncle R and Cousins E and O and most importantly Uncle CheshireFigment! (That's a Grand Gatherings, folks!)
The where's and whyfores and trip agenda:
Day One: Blizzard Beach, check out some slides...
Day Two: Magic Kingdom - First Dumbo, then Teapots, then Barnstormer, then Buzz Lightyear, then TTC, then Space Mountain, then Indy, then Carpets, then Big Thunder and Splash Mountain (getting the Mountain Trifecta), watch a parade, wander around, Peter Pan, Small World, Winnie the Pooh, watch night parade and fireworks.
Day Three: Animal Kingdom - Safari, Kali River Rapids, paths, Triceratops, "Spin Coaster", Dinosaur (why does he keep making me ride this?!?), a show or two, out to the conservation center, back to the rapids again, Expedition Everest.
Day Four: Hollywood Studios - ToyStory Mania, Great Movie Ride, Star Tours, Mommy auditions for Idol again (my kids make me do it), Playhouse Disney, wander past Rock-n-Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror, dither a bit, maybe ride them this time, watch parade, Muppets, carshow, INDY!!!!
Day Five: Epcot - Test TRack, Figment, Soarin', Nemo, Turtle Talk, Jungle boat ride, Innovations, World Showcase, wander around the world eating and playing Kimpossible (for his big bro), Mexico ride, Maelstrom, wander, take boat across lake, wander, have pretzel in Germany and watch trains, wander, watch Taiko drummers and eat Kaki Gori (cherry) and wander, watch Illuminations.
Day 6: Typhoon Lagoon, maybe snorkel w/ sharks, spend most of the day in wave pool.
Day 7: Back to Hollywood Studios - ToyStory Mania, Great Movie Ride, INDY and then over to Downtown Disney to Lego Store and Toy Store and then take in early show of La Nouba then go to Magic Kingdom for fireworks.
Day 8: Universal Island's of Adventure - Ride coasters, check out new Harry Potter area for Mom.
Day 9: Back to Epcot - TestTrack, Soarin', Figment, Nemo, World Showcase, Figment again, riverboat ride, back to Showcase for Illumations.
Day 10: Hang out at hotel pool then go home.
