This sounds stupid BUT:

Can I get an idea of just HOW scary it is?

No, Im not bringing children I just want to know for myself!

Can you compare it to other attractions or whatever or give me examples? I know it's presented as being terrifying, but is my heart going to be bursting every moment or just inside haunted houses, etc?

I have never been to one! We couldn't afford it when we lived in Florida but are planning a trip possibly during Halloween and I really miss Universal!

Are there any parts at all that are more like "just fun" than scary? Or not...:scared1:

That a tough question because it depends on what you consider scary. I think it's more fun than scary but that's me. I don't know what other attractions to compare the houses to since they are pretty unique every year. The shows are usually more fun than scary. The only thing I can tell is...try it and see how you do.
