HHN Stay and Scream vs. one day ticket-- can you stay in park

I know if you purchase the add-on stay and scream ticket, and you already have park tickets, you can stay in the park. What if you have your day park tickets and purchase the Halloween Horror nite tix, can you still stay in the park with this type of ticket?

yes.

if you have the day ticket and previously bought the stay and scream ticket, you go to the holding area by 5.
you can stay in the park.

if you are in the park during the day, you can buy the stay and scream ticket at guest services.

do buy this s & s ticket way before park closing.

i have seen long lines at 4:45 at guest services of peeps waiting to buy the S & S ticket for hhn.

if you buy the ticket and it is after 5, you generally have to go outside and wait in the long line.
that line to enter the park will open at 6:30.

The lines getting in the holding area can be long too. Last year the line just waiting to get their ticket scanned was very long and I thought by the time every ticket was scanned, it would have been time to be released. It's important to get to the holding area at 5pm so you can claim a spot and wait in relative comfort.

i assumed when you stated you have a one day ticket to the parks, you would have to use that ticket to be at the studios that day.


you could not go to ioa for the day, then go directly to the stay and scream holding area.

you need a park ticket for the studios they day you go directly to s&s.

if you don't, then your hhn will be your admission ticket to the hhn event when the gates open at 6:30.
