Let me start out by saying I hate scary movies. I rarely watch them! I went to HHN last year when DH and I were on our honeymoon. He had gone with friends a few nights earlier so he prepped me for things. Now if I had it my way I could be teleported in to the Bill and Ted show and maybe over to the Mummy for a few spins and skip all the scary stuff! This year he won't be going before me so he won't be able to tell me about it!

So with that said I am looking for tons of HHN spoilers. I don't do the houses! Last year in addition to the scarezones there were the chainsaw guys out in front of Richter's and the Zombie Drill Team in front of MIB, both not on the map. So this year is there anything that is not on the map like last year? How do the scarezones compare to last years? My big accomplishment was making it through all of the scarezones! Ha ha! I was always looking over my shoulder...which backfired in one scarezone!

So spoilers please! If it is not ok to post spoilers on here please PM me! I think we might be going next Saturday night.

From NH, eh? I lived in Epping for 14 years, really enjoyed my time there. The Scare Zones are far milder than last year, if you survived them you will do fine. No unmapped zones this year, very few chainsaws. I don't really know how you would do a spoiler for a house, you're in there to get scared and they do it. The bottom line is that it's not as scary as last year. If that's your comparison it's all you really need to know. Have a great time, we went there last week and will be back the week of Oct. 18.

We're in the Lakes Region. We love it! I won't go in the houses, so no spoilers needed for those! I wait patiently outside while everyone else goes in! This year we are going with friends so DH doesn't have to go in alone! I think I will bring a book! I really just go for the Bill and Ted's show, but to get there you have to go through the scarezones ha ha!

You would probably enjoy the Rocky Horror Tribute plus some rides are open so you won't have to spend that much time reading.

We had a condo in Lincoln, my kids learned to ski around the same time they learned to walk. Loved Loon Mt, Cannon, Bretton Woods, Attitash. Gunstock had beautiful views of the lake but we usually went there for night skiing. We skied the lost trails at Cannon and Tuckerman's Ravine. We even did Kings Ridge before it shut down. My kids were heartbroken when we moved south.

I am a huge chicken too...the scare zones are really not that scary this year (and very short) just don't act scared and they don't really bother you. As for the houses, I went in all 8 and I survived. I shut my eyes during Saw and a few times when I got startled. I think you will be okay! If you truly want some spoilers from a fellow chicken you can message me.

Thanks! We're going Friday and I'm already nervous! Lord I am a wimp! Last year I found if I looked the scareactors directly in the eyes they left me alone. The only thing that really freaked me out were the chainsaw guys!

I won't go into specifics so I don't spoil effects in specific houses for other people, but let's just say that Universal is pretty big on air blasts (especially in a house certain houses) this year. You can get splattered with water (at least that's what I hope it is) in a couple of the houses too. Whether this happens or not depends on your position in the conga line as you walk through the house. There is also a lot of darkness/fog/strobes/disorientation in one part of Spawing, and the smell in Cleaver is pretty ucky in one part.

No problem! I will be viewing the houses strictly from the outside! I'm downloading two books onto my ipod now!
