HHN September and 3 park plan 4 days

HHN September nights

help me decide my plan for HHN and rest of stat HHN either Thursday Sept 15 arrival day or Sunday Sept 19 last night before departure the next day

my original plan was

9/15 Thursday arrival rest at hotel, then parks at 3pm, stay and scream/ HHN
9/16 Fri VB w cabana rental
9/17 Sat switch to HRH express passes
9/17-18 Sat/Sun dry parks w express
9/19 Mon depart

now I am thinking HHN on arrival day may be a bit much of we want to stay late

how does this sound instead

9/15 Thursday arrival day,
9/15/16 HRH express passes dry parks
9/17 Sat VB w cabana rental/ dry park/citiwalk
9/18 Sun no express parks/HHN
9/19 depart

which night would make the most out of my express pass during the day.
we wont be diong express for HHN

Random thoughts:
I think either plan would work out similarly, although I'd be inclined to skip HRH for plan 2 as I just don't think the EPs will be needed on a Thurs / Fri in Sept. If you keep HRH it should be cheaper / better availability Thurs night than Sat night. When is your flight in? That will impact your EP lifespan obviously.

I suspect you may not be inclined to take advantage of EE for VB Fri if it follows an HHN night Thurs... possibly VB EE is also not really necessary for a school year Fri? While EE is convenient for walk-on watercoaster rides first thing in the morning, is it worth an early morning after (hopefully) closing out HHN?

VB may be nice after HHN if it allows you to take it easy - depending how many big slides you want to do, you may or may not find it easy on the footsies. But I guess you can soak them in the not-so-lazy river.

I agree with the above.
I would personally go with your first choice but that just seems to flow better. It depends on how tiring you travel day is?

If you need to cut costs and everyone in your party is ok with getting there early and using single rider lines if needed (in the middle of September) you could cut Hard Rock for a cheaper hotel (maybe use that savings for HHN Express).
