Hello all,

Since everyone here was so helpful when I was planning our trip I figured I would post some info and pictures from HHN. Sorry for the blurry photos! I also have video I have to edit. I will post back here when its completed and uploaded.

FYI: THERE ARE A FEW SPOILERS IN THE FOLLOWING POST!

We were trying to find the Stay & Scream area, but every CM we asked had a different answer. One said it was at the front gate of US, another said it was in front of Jimmy Neutron, another said it was by Fear Factor and another said it was by Jaws. So we walked to Jaws and as we got there the CMs were checking the S&S passes, so we figured this is where we should be. The entrance for the Friday The 13th house was the same entrance as the Jaws attraction so we just waited in line here. This house opened at 6pm and we were the 4th ones in line so we didn’t even need our EP for this one.

Friday The 13th House:

Since this was our first house it was still light out and I do think that took a little bit away from the scare factor. The set was great though as you walk through, full of Jason's walking around and popping out everywhere. Lots of blood.

Jack's 3D House:

The second house we hit was Jack's 3D HH. This house opened at 6:30 and we were there by 6:10. We were about the 4th people in line, so again we didn’t need to use our EPs. The cool thing about this house is it is pitch black! And with the bright neon colors they use to get the 3D, when something pops out, it really pops out!

After this house the park started to get busy. We just did some walking to check out the new transformed park.

We approached a small stage freak show and decided to hang out for a few minutes. The makeup was great on these CMs, but these outfits didn’t hide ANYTHING! If you were there, and you saw the blonde you know EXACTLY what I mean!

This trio excused themselves and introduced this guy covered from head to toe with puzzle piece tattoos and piercings. I have seen him on TV before and thought he would be a nut job, but he seemed very cool and surprisingly normal!

At this point we should have done The Thing HH, but the entrance is kind of hidden and we walked right by it. We ended up by the Dead Silence HH.

Dead Silence:

IMO this HH was more of a creepy freaky feeling then stuff popping out and making you jump.. Another great set with psychos playing with body parts and asking if you have seen Mary Shaw.

Nightmare On Elm Street:

I was looking forward to this house the most and it didn’t disappoint. As you walk through 1428 Elm Street you see CMs from each installment of the series. Everything from an upside down room with a bed covered in Johnny Depps blood to the kid in a wheelchair being controlled like a puppet by his veins.

Psychoscareapy:

As you walk into this morbid Christmas fairy tail you see a white van covered in blood that is smashed through the front of the house. It is nice and cool/cold in this house, so if you are dying of heat this is a nice break.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre:

Everything you would expect to see in Leatherface's house. Lots of chainsaws and pieces of flesh laying over a sewing table.

Bill & Ted's Show

IMHO this was one of the highlights of the night. My wife and I are HUGE fans of The Office and the show opens up with the "assistant TO THE regional manager" of Dunder Mifflin Scranton, Dwight Schrute!

Like most woman my wife is addicted to the tabloids so the rest of the Bill and Ted show was up her alley. The show covers most of the celebrity gossip in the past year. You get to see Lindsy Lohan walking around the entire show with a 3 gallon container full of powder and a large straw coming out of it. You even get to see Rosie and Donald finally work out their issues, although Bill and Ted are not at all impressed.

The Thing:

After the show we went back to find The Thing HH. This time there was a big sign with an arrow pointing to the direction of the entrance. I guess I wasnt the only one who missed it. At this point it was very dark in all of the houses and at times you had no idea which way to go. This was one of those houses and when you get confused the CM takes advantage of it. I jumped more at stuff popping out here then any other house.

At this point we were BEAT! We were at the park since 10am and it was taking its toll! We skipped the Vampyr house and headed back to the resort. Since we didn’t use our EPs on Friday The 13th house, Jacks 3D house or the Vampry house, we stopped a random couple on the way out who didn’t have EP and gave them ours for those 3 houses.

Thank you all again for the help when I was planning this trip. I hope something in this long rambled post helps someone else! If I missed anything please let me know and don't flame me too hard!
