OK... this is my first time to HHN and I have a question. I've followed the event for many years so I know a lot about it including the fact that it gets very busy. For this reason I booked two nights, a Thursday and a Friday but after reading some of the posts on this board I am beginning to worry that I won't be able to see everything. I 'm only going for the HHN stuff so I am hoping that I'll be able to fit it all in. What do you all think?

P.S. Our dates are 10/2 & 3 which might matter or not.

Thanks in advance.

You should be fine. I would suggest getting an Express Pass for Thursday night and then go back Friday night to do the shows. Do you already have HHN tickets for those night? Friday night will be busier than Thursday night but with the EP's you should be able to do everything the first night. Also...I would recommend doing Stay & Scream if you have an AP or are going to be in the park before closing. S & S will give you a jump on the lines.

Like metro stated, this is the best way too see it all!!!

I really wanted to avoid the extra cost. As it stands I'm already paying for a flight from Philly, PA, a hotel for a couple of night and of couse two HHN nights so I'd rather not shell out the additional cash if I don't have to. What are my chances of seeing all of the houses and scarezones withouth the EP? I'll live if I miss the shows but maybe not if I miss a house or scarezone. A victim of Mary in every way. Haha.

In order to see everything w/o an EP you will have to get there as early as possible. The lines will grow pretty long as the night progresses so just keep that in mind. Just do what you can the first night and then start with the other houses and shows Friday.

You'll be fine. You're going on the 1st Thursday and 2nd Friday of the event, so those are usually less crowded then normal. Just be prepared to hustle. Use the 1st night to hit the houses and the 2nd night to do the shows, house repeats, and even some attractions.

You should be more than fine without an express pass.

If I'm correct,if you have day passes(which you have not state yet)but you do have the hard tix for HHN for the 2nd and3rd..

If you have the day tix for the park, you can do the stay&scream at least 1night that will give you a jump on the houses before the crowds get thick..

After 8-9PM the times are going to be long-so it would not hurt to buy the day pass. Its cheaper then the Express, cause you get too do the park before it closes....

There is alot of ifs in the question your asking.Just trying too help you out the best we can..:thumbsup2

do they sell Special merchandise during this event as disney does?: for example shirts pin.

I'm sorry I didn't clarify... I ONLY have tix for HHN for both Thursday the 2nd and Friday the 3rd. I am not doing either of the parks during the day. I am coming to Fl for one reason only.... Bloody Mary. BTW, thanks to all for the help. I think I'm feeling better about my choices. See you all there!

OK that makes it clearer.Get to the gates early, try too beat the crowds.Thursday is going to be the best night to catch the houses, and FRiday the shows, with a repeat of your fav housees :thumbsup2

Post your dates on the thread Metro gave ya.You never know you can meet the wright person on thos dates and see the houseses alittle better.:thumbsup2

And I still kick myself for not buying at least a shirt:sad2:
Oh man...you HAVE to buy a shirt...Wearing a HHN from another year is the unofficial local tradition. I usually wear my 2004 and 2005 shirts when I go. Start collecting this year! :thumbsup2

Don't forget about going to the Bill and Ted's show....you do not want to miss it.....

Well... I broke down and bought the Express Pass for Friday the 3rd. I'm gonna do Thursday regular though because I'm just not made of money. BTW, I'm not sure what the deal is with B&T Show but I'm not really interested. It really doesn't seem like my kind of thing. I wouldn't mind seeing the Rocky Horror tribute though if I had time.

You know, I use to think the same way....I've been coming to HHN for the last 6 years, all the way from Texas, and the first couple of years, just skipped the B n T show, and one year had the time to do it.....let's just say I was kicking myself for not ever going before.....just give it a try, you'll see...
