HHN Question: How do they move.....

day guests out and HHN guests in and what times? Planning to go to the Universal Parks during the days of the HHN but not actually attend HHNs (one child is too young). Do they let the HHN guests in while the "regular" day guests are there or do they get everyone out and than let the HHN guest back in and if so, at what times do they do this?

Sorry to be so clueless but we are newbies to Universal!

The park closes at 5pm. They chase all the day guests out. If you have a HHN ticket for that night they will corral you into an area that you can stay. You have to have your ticket to get into that area. After security call all clear (around 6-6:30) they will allow the Stay & Scream guests out to HHN. Only one or 2 of the houses will be open and may still be pretty light out. Most of the scaracters aren't out at that time either. At around 7 pm they will open the gates for the other HHN guests to come in. I normally have 2-3 houses done by that time.
