Howdy...I went to the Studios this morning mainly to get my Frequent Fear Pass for HHN but I also wanted to take some pictures of the props that will be used. I haven't seen anyone post those so here they are:

Anyone recognize the Marquis Colony Park station wagon? It's the one from the Twister queue. Also...all of the cars were covered in dried blood.

Great pics! :thumbsup2

I was there earlier in the week and noticed the props starting to appear. It sent a shiver on anticipation down my spine. I can't believe it's sooooooo close now!

Yeah...I was thinking of doing that on 10/2 since I won't be leaving work early but the FF pass isn't valid that night. :headache:

Great pics. I cannot wait. Will be there next week and going to HHN on Oct.4. Woo hoo! Looking forward to the War of the Living Dead scarezone.

Just read the post about the props for HHN (great pics btw). I was on the HHN website a few months ago and saw that the theme was Urban Legends. My family was stoked, including my 12 year old. Didn't realize that was last years theme, silly me. Problem is... Ripped from the Silver Screen features Chucky, the little maniacal, demon doll and my 12 year old has had a total freak out, terrorizing fear :scared1: of Chucky for as long as I can remember (no thanks to his big brothers, I'm sure). Just seeing a picture of Chucky scares the heck out of him. And this is the year he is finally brave enough to try out some of the big rides like, Mummy and Expedition Everest. He loves Spiderman ride, anything spinning, etc, but big drops and coasters has not been his thing until this year. I've tried explaining that Chucky is fake, just a movie prop, yada, yada, yada, but it just ain't getting through. :confused3 We are definately not doing HHN this year but I know when he sees the big banner with Chucky hanging at the entrance to Universal he is going to be skeptical about going inside, like, "Is Chucky waiting around the corner, ready to carve me up?" Please post if you have been to Universal lately and know if there are any people running around dressed up like Chucky or any other props featuring Chucky in the park during the day before HHN starts. Any other tips, etc. (other than psychoanalysis) would be great, too! Counting down-10 days before the start of our trip! :yay:

I have seen Chucky on the billboards and signs/banners around CityWalk and they do sell the Chucky dolls in the stores at CityWalk and the Studios.

My avatar is about as much as Chucky is seen on the banners. If he gets scared just by seeing Chucky's picture, you might want to keep him away for now.

You won't see any scareactors during the day, and the only props out are large, stationary props for the scarezones. The only props that could be considered slightly frightening is that the cars at the Drive-In scare zone have blood on the windows. In fact, I don't remember seeing any really gory props in the scarezones during HHN this year.

Thanks. I know he will absolutely freak  if he sees the Chucky doll in the shops. He isn't afraid of blood/gore, other characters (he plays videogames) it's only Chucky that spooks him. I guess that's one way to keep him out of the souvenir shops. We were hoping to have quite a few days at IOA/US as we'll be staying onsite at the RPR for 9 nites. We will have to play it by ear with the banners and I'm sure if we do go, we'll be leaving before dark. They don't have HHN stuff in IOA, do they? Thanks again!

No...just CityWalk and the Studios.
