HHI w/8 month old- what to do??

We are taking our very first family vacation with our new son and we are going to HHI. Needless to say, water sports and all day activities are out. We need the more 'laid back' vacation (although my husband does want to go golfing x2 days).

Since I've never been to the area, I'm wondering if anyone can offer any suggestions / tips on traveling and sight seeing in that area with an infant. He's a very laid back child who hardly fusses when we are out and about (he's too curious), and as long as I provide him opportunity to nap we have no problems.

we are taking our 8month old to HHI too. We will be there 4/25-30. Our boy is laid back also. We do not plan on taking any tours or doing any sightseeing. I can not wait for him to play in the pool for the first time. He loves baths right now, i bet he will love the pool. HHI always has these little puddles of water at the beach where kids play in, without getting in the ocean.

NO WAY! We are arriving at HHI on 4/25 and checking out on 4/30- I kid you not!!!
