Is there a list of restaurants that offer a discount to people staying at the HHI resort or DVC members?

The resort has a list and sometimes they will fax it to you if you ask them to.

We came back from HH a week ago. The little "perks" book we were given when we checked in,says that Antonio's,CQ's,Old Fort Pub,Boathouse2,Jazz corner,kingfisher,Ocean Grill,Waterfront Cafe,Del Vecchio's,Giuseppi' Pizza,Old Oyster Factory,Scotts Fish Market all offer a 10% discount Keep in mind that 10% doesn't apply to any other offer such as a Happy Hour.

Technically that's true, however, I've never been denied the discount on early bird specials and the OOF has never denied the discount plus the free salad coupon combined, YMMV.

If you are a Marriott owner or have a Marriott rewards card, they have a much larger list of discounts. Even those that don't offer a discount on the list will often give you 10% off or similar if you ask, esp if they give any discounts to other groups. We had this happen several times for our trip this summer. Also look at restaurant.com for discount coupons. I can vouch for Alligator Grill and Aqua, not sure about the rest. If I had my chance, I'd go to AG 2 or 3 times in a week.

Likely many people's top choice is Sunset Grill but you likely won't see it advertised. A place that doesn't advertise, where you truly need reservations and is found in the back of an RV park must be pretty good. We've had it on our list 3 times now and not yet made it there. HH has so many great choices that it's hard to get an inclusive list. One place that's easy to tell you to stay away from is Little Venice in Shelter Cove by DVC.

Thanks Dean, great info!! Stay away from Little Venice, got it. Love this advice since we've never been there.
