HHI in july aug

HI all
moms 70th birthday and all 22 of us are going. Most of us have point and are sharing for those who dont . What are the chances of 7 month window for end of july begining of aug??

We celebrated mom's 80 last year did 2 nights on cash and rest on points and those not staying at DVC stayed very close.

Yes this was booked in Jan for an August. We ended up paying for 4 nights cash $385 per night and 2 points. This time I called at the 11 month mark and was already booked solid about 2 weeks later was able to get a cash but no points. I have snagged one night on points.

Definitely have a backup plan. I called right at 7 months for this August and couldn't get it. I am waitlisted but am not holding out too much hope.

You might want to consider renting points from a HH owner so you could get the 11 month window.

While many have had success getting a HH reservation within 7 months for July/Aug, in this case you will need at least 3 2BR villas or 2 GVs to accommodate your group. While 1 (or even 2) 2BR villas might be available the chances of finding 3 for the same dates is greatly diminished - same for finding 2 GVs.

I would definitely have a backup plan. Finding a HH owner able to help would be your best chance.

We had 8 in the villa and the others stayed elsewhere mostly hotels. I did get extra key cards so everyone could get into the gate. Worked great!
