HHI and WiFi Issues

Just got back from a trip to AKV and stopped on the way home at HHI for one night. I never could get my Mac to connect to the HHI WiFi. Tried all kinds of things to get it to work. I had no problem though connecting at AKV. The folks at the HHI front desk were no help at all. I was able to get both mine and DW's iPads to connect however. Has anyone else had problems with the HHI WiFi and were you able to finally get connected? It was no big deal since we were there only one night and we did have our iPads but I'm thinking about what happens if it happens again next year, when we will be staying longer.

YES! We had the same problem when we were there over July 4th week this summer.

All you have to do is reset the modem device that is connected to the main phone line in the living room. Once I did that reset, it worked for the rest of our stay.

We were staying in a Grand Villa, so I am not sure each villa HAS a modem device or not - but that was the fix for our problem.

I had problems connecting to the Wi-Fi when we were there at Thanksgiving. Our first couple days there were windy and rainy, so I blamed it on that. But then the sun came out, the wind died down, yet the Wi-Fi problems continued. What was also annoying was that there were times when I'd be cruising the internet and suddenly get kicked off, lose the connection. Maybe for 5, 10 minutes but maybe for a couple of hours.
