This is great into. Is there a way to get this kind of info for what happens in June? We have a trip planned for next June and would love a heads up on activities, I know they wouldn't be the same next summer....but it would give us an idea.

Thanks, Erika

I posted this information about the Palmetto Dunes area at Hilton Head (where Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort is located) in another thread but thought it might be good information to share again.

I just got this today by email and will pass it along - a blatant plug for the Palmetto Dunes area at Hilton Head from the Golf Channel!

Here are some other links with area info:

Golf

Tennis

Beach

Golf Academy

Palmetto Dunes Bike Trails Map

Saltwater Lagoons

The Dunes House (This is located just up the beach from the Disney Beach House - about 400 yards north.)

Shelter Cove Harbour (The DVC Resort is on this harbour.)

Kid Friendly

Thanks so muchfor the info on the goings-on at HHI. We look forward to reading them every month and we never thanked you for making us aware of one, the Annual Piggly-Wiggly Turkey Trot 5K, on Thanksgiving morning. Because of reading about it in your monthly list of goings-on, DH did it last year, had a super time, and plans to do it again this year. He said he felt better stuffing himself with food that afternoon knowing he'd begun with that run (and free beer after the race!) So please keep those monthly reports coming!
