HH Fireworks

Last time we were in HH, it was in the middle of July, and the Fireworks were great. Does anyone know when they start the fireworks (Memorial Day)? Is it all summer? Just July and August?

We are thinking about staying in May / June.

I think it is strictly a summer program. Last year we were at HH for Labor Day and the fireworks were gone.

We were there the first week of June this year and there were no fireworks. They were to start the following week.

The fireworks are not part of the DVC resort. They are provided by the shelter cove merchant association. Dvc is a member. THe resort gets the benifit of being the launch pad for the display. If it rains they will not reschedle most of the time. but it is over with by now i believe. I be there end of Sept. and I let you know.

This year the last night for fireworks was Tues, Aug 20.

Last summer we were at HH I "think" the second week in June and we just got there for the first fireworks of the season. They were on a Tuesday night but because of rain, switched to Wednesday. We just sat on the little boardwalk that runs from the Lodge towards the pool. Great spot!!

As posted previously, the last night of the fireworks display was Tue Aug. 20th . We were staying at HH from Aug. 16-23, and as I was loading the bikes on my vehicle the morning of the 23rd I noticed the tugboat securing the fireworks barge for removal.
