We will be in arriving in Orlando at close to midnight, so the first night we are staying at the MCO Hyatt. The next 5 days we will be at a condo in Windsor Hills, followed by 3 nights on the Disney Wonder. After the cruise we have another 2 days before flying out, and I am trying to decide where to stay.
We had originally booked a 4 day cruise but when the "kids sail free" promotion came along I cancelled that and changed to the 3 day, thereby saving about $1500
I thought maybe the savings could convince me to shell out the $$ to stay onsite at a deluxe like the Boardwalk or Beach Club, but I'm not willing to pay over $1000 for the two nights!!! Especially as we will not be using any of the "perks" provided for onsite guests. We will be doing Disney during the days prior to the cruise, and by the time we get off the ship I think DH will be somewhat "Disney-ed out". I know, I know, how is that possible?!
There are 4 of us, myself, DH, DD8 and DS5. We are looking for a place to just sort of hang out for a couple of days, so a good pool area is a must.
What do you think? HGVC SeaWorld or Gaylord Palms?
