I mentioned this dream home in Chat on Sunday and thought I'd post the link. HGTV is a cable channel here in the states which run programs on decorating, home building, gardening, crafts, etc. It's one of my favorite channels. Anyway, every year they give away a dream home. Last year it was in Maryland. This year it's located in the panhandle area of FL. I think the home is really something and you can take an online tour.
The only problem with it is that if you're lucky enough to win it, I don't see how you could keep it. The thing is valued at 1 million and we have to pay taxes (both federal and state) on prize winnings here in the states. That would be about forty percent.
Kind of a bummer.
