Hey, Would-ja like to go to Florida? You Becha! Done #168! 5-26-09

I followed your link from the J&K thread. Great report so far! We had a bad winter in MI as well and I'm so ready for this warmer weather!!

I'm like you, it takes me forever to fall asleep that first night. Your resort looks really nice. I'm surprised at the (lack of) crowds so far.
Thanks for coming over from the J&K8 thread. Our thread is too quiet, but since there are no new shows, there is really nothing to discuss, and I am sure they are keeping a low profile now, for damage control. We were surprised too by the low crowds. I read all those horrible threads about Easter and the MK shutting down. I think we just hit some good days, when everyone was going home.

OMG - I haven't enjoyed myself reading a TR so much in a long time!! You have the most wonderful sense of humor :lmao: You are just like I am - I love to stay late at the parks and love ice cream for dinner ;)

Can't wait to read all about your Epcot day (btw what's with that other couple? :confused3 Wanting to chill at the hotel rather than seeing WDW? I would jump at any chance esp if you were going too!!)
I remember a DIS member LauraLee doing a trip report about a do-over and warning people to not to travel with people that don't know anything. This couple was just confusing.
I'll talk about them later,
But, I hate when people tell you,
"oh, I'll have to call you and you can plan our trip for us,
yada, yada, yada,

Seriously, my philosophy is,
"the more you know and understand WDW",
"you understand and will want more".

I think some people on the DIS, call it "drinking the kool-aid".
I simply could not get them to budge.
They wanted to sit at the pool, sleep, and drink margarita's.
Though there is nothing wrong with margarita's. LOL.

:rotfl: too funny!
My Goddaughter called me last nite.
She had a baby 2 weeks ago.

David and Cassie my 2 oldest are going to be the godparents.

David is real close to her husband. We never knew him till they got married, but my son and him became instant best friends. He always said, if he ever had kids, he wanted David to be a Godfather. Cassie and my goddaughter are very close too.

I would have loved a new godson. I would of spoiled him rotten.:rotfl:

Can you have those for breakfast???? I could use one now!
We actually eyed them up at 11:30 a.m. when we were at Epcot. We decided we didn't want a headache.

I am working on the Epcot post.

Well, this kind of makes you a "god-grandmother"!

You may want to check the thread, not such a low profile going on at the moment.

I agree, traveling with another couple that isn't into the same things you are can be a pain in the neck. Can't wait to hear all about it!

Can someone post a link to the JK+8 thread?

I have mixed feelings about this family - mostly Kate, I really don't like her, but I can't help but watch the new episodes to see what she's up to.

It is actually our 3rd thread.
We all try to remain civil and give the good as well as the bad.

Thanks, OhMari! I've seen some threads where people REALLY get upset over the Gosselins. It can get vicious :headache: , so it's good to know this is a civil thread!

:thanks:

Oh boy, I have no words.
Jon shouldn't have tried to do damage control on his own.

Just got caught up with your report.....Lot's of fellow Wisconsinites reading along with you.......We're heading for our first Brewer game of the seaon on Friday night.

Looking forward to your next post.

I'm working on the Epcot post.
I mostly have pictures.

The Brewers had an early game today, and the stands were filled with school kids. They had some kind of Science Day before the game.
My dd went to BayShore Mall after work and walked in the bowling alley, and 4 Brewers were bowling. She wanted to talk to them, but her friends had to go, so she didn't.
Have fun Friday, I'm sure the stadium roof will be closed, so it won't be so cold.

OK, what time was your daughter at Bayshore? I was there too, that would've been so crazy to see some Brewers players there. I've been wanting to go to that bowling alley for a while, now I guess I'll have to go. :rotfl::rotfl:

Looking forward to the next update. popcorn::

Wow, I think the bathroom room, was larger
than my dd’s dorm room.

What a beautiful view you had!!! :thumbsup2

This morning, he saw he had an e-mail
from his co-worker,
neither one wanted to go to Epcot,
they were going to just sit around the pool
and check into the convention early.

:confused3 Wazzup wit dat?

My dd got off work at 4:30 p.m. and she probably met her friends around 5:00 and I got a phone call at 7:00. So it had to be inbetween 5-7. She was at the bar/resturant next to the bowling alley/theatre complex. My um, ds, who does estimating at Concourd Motor's say, many live over on Riverside, right off of 43, /BrownDeer Rd.

Both were very baffling all weekend, and after much teasing each evening, I sort of was not very nice, when I slightly suggested "AAA". That story was after a few hours in the sun and one to many margarita's.

Having fun reading about your last-minute trip!

What's wrong with ice cream for dinner?? :confused3 Hey, you're on vacation!!

Jon wouldn't have to do damage control if he'd just stay home.

I hate to say this, but I believe he did it - I saw it coming a mile away a long time ago.

Kathy

Ice cream is good,
but not good for my stomache.

I'm trying to get back to "long time trip report members".
I try to do so much welcoming to new members, I neglect my faithful posters, so hopefully I will get to yours. I tend to print out the really long one's for road trips. We are leaving tomorrow morning again, so I plan on doing lots of printing today.

Going anywhere fun?

Just down to IL.
It's still a 3 1/2 hour ride one way.
My son has a moto-cross race.
Me and my dh are coming back Sat. afternoon to go to the wedding,
and then he is driving back down at 4 in the morning on Sunday.

He has a race in upstate New York the middle of June,
and we are going to park the trailer/truck at the Buffalo
airport, rent a vehicle and go see Niagra Falls.
I told them it is a fair trade/off for making me do all the
cooking and cleaning when I have to go along.:rotfl:
