Hey, Would-ja like to go to Florida? You Becha! Done #168! 5-26-09

This is what my dh said, when he handed me a slip of paper and asked if I wanted to go to Florida April 15-19.

I told my dh after our last trip in November, if he ever
wonders what to get me, or surprise me with,
I told him to plan a vacation somewhere.

I have done all the planning for the last 27 years,
it is his turn.

So he hands me this slip,
and it say, April 15-19th,
He has to attend an Ameriquest Convention
and we are staying at the Ritz/Carleton in Orlando Florida.
I know it isn't on property/
but I'll get over it.

I thought I would be touring with another wife.
I've met her once at a Milwaukee Brewer's game
and she had on a hoodie~~and jeans while we were
in the owner's suite~~so I am pretty sure I'll get along with her, or not!!!

Some of you know me on the Trip Boards, since I am the moderator,
I'm easy going and I edit out *** for donkey butt,
I'm not cranky person, really I'm not,
I don't know what went wrong,
so you'll have to stay tune and find out what happened.

Back Story.

We were in WDW last Nov.
It was suppose to be our “Empty Nest Vacation.”
I did a Trip Report,
with very few responses.
I am probably boring,
maybe everyone is afraid to post on a Mod’s thread.

Or, if you are like me, we call ourselves,
“Lurkers!”
Most Trip reports are like a book,
why comment on something someone does.
So if you have written a report, I’ve probably have
read it,
I just haven’t commented,
just remind yourself~~ “Your moderator is there for ya!”

So, after a long brutal winter

back yard

31 straight days of temperatures below the freezing mark,

Way to much snow;

sidewalk around my house and out to the driveway.


A small side trip to Savannah GA, (in the middle of January)
Savannah's airport is pretty neat
I had to buy a $12 umbrella: it was raining really hard outside.

Name the movie where Julia Roberts caught her husband (Dennis Quad) cheating:

Small signs of spring in Savannah:

Cassie was done with her Federal Training.
She is an official Federal Agent.

Cassie drove up from Brunswick GA and picked me up the next day in Savannah,
and we drove back to Wisconsin.

Savannah GA temperature 58 degrees,
my home town in Wisconsin -26 degrees.

Are you with me yet?



My dh came home from work one day,
in the middle of March,
and ask me;
“Hey, howwouldja, like to go to Florida?”
Seriously, did he just ask me to go to Florida?

“When”
“Why”
“Where”
“Driving or flying”

I'm in, and the movie was "Something To Talk About"! The Savannah airport is beautiful too, ALWAYS love reading TR from people in the MN/WI area, my hubby is from the Milwaukee area and we live in the Twin Cities! Can't wait to read more...I am still waiting for the day my DH asks me if I want to go to Florida, I'm always the one asking him...hmmm...

Ding, Ding, Winner, winner, chicken dinner. That was pretty easy. Can you name what movie the church steeple was in? The steeple was actually in 2 movies.

We have 2 moto-cross races in TN, May and July, I'm sure it will be very warm then.

I know the date was March 6,
I was waiting for my dh to get home from work
because we were meeting our kids
and we were all going to a Milwaukee Admirals Game
in Milwaukee.
Callie just got home from UW-Green Bay.
Her boyfriend broke up with her the previous week,
so she was home, getting some comfort from family and friends.

My dh hands me a small slip of paper
after he asked me, "If I wanna go to Florida"
the little piece of paper says:

I was pretty excited and wanted
to get on the computer, but we had to go.

loving WDW!!

We left to Milwaukee
to meet up with everyone.

We went to a Milwaukee Admirals Hockey Game
and the Wisconsin Badgers Marching Band played throughout the game.
After the game, the Marching Band did their famous 5th quarter.
If you wonder what a 5th quarter is, the band goes down on the field and plays about 6 songs without sheet music and goofs around on the field while they are playing. The band director even dances and messes around.
I really enjoyed it.

Got home and saw the pics. Very good!

I like snow A LOT, because we rarely ever get it down here, but I'm so glad my back yard doesn't look like yours in the winter. I'd freeze to death, being the cold natured person that I am.

I think ya just get numb and move on,
I would go to the YMCA after work in my
capri work out pants and crocs
with about 5 sweatshirts on, LOL.
We can house trade free anytime.
