VB used to make pet carriers and leashes - but I don't think they ever made pet beds. Thinking your cat loves Vera and he/she needs her own bag. LOL

I think VB should make a medium size bag. Would be perfect for the ones who find the regular hipster too big and the mini too small.

They had an in-between size, the Libby. Much to my chagrin, they discontinued it because it really is the perfect size (for me). I don't like the mini with its flap, and the Hipster is too big. Plus the Hipster has that thicker, more cumbersome strap and I lose things in it because of its profile. I wish they'd bring Libby back, though you can still find it in all but the most current prints.

Have you looked at the Mail Bag or Messenger Bag? Are those too big for you? I don't have either but looked at a Messenger Bag in the store the other day. I think it would get too heavy for a day at wdw. I'd be tempted to throw too much in there. That's what my backpack is for.

I am still confused on which to get!! LOL I haven't seen either IRL so can't get a good idea of size. While at WDW, I normally wear the dreaded fanny pack and am looking to change it up next month.

I usually carry a digital camera in the case, room keys, money, band aids, gum, autograph books x2 and pens, tissues, misc. small things like chapstick, band aids, etc., advil, and whatever other junk I accumulate.

So what size would be better for me? Thanks!!

SO, oddly I was at the store and looking at the VB stuff and a woman came up to me... so I asked her as she was perusing what bag she thought would be better.... she said to try it, and I said well I really don't keep much in my bag now.. long story short, we grabbed the 2 'little' bags and a large backpack.... and put all the stuff she had in hers in all of them, and I tried them all on, the only one that didn't dig or fly to the front when I went to pick up one of my little ones was the back pack.... heck it didn't even feel like I had anything on.. .and she had it pretty full too!! so I opted to get the big back pack may be too big for some, but I also have to carry diapers and wipes too

Has anyone ever used the Vera Bradley Betsy bag for their park bag??? I'm thinking it may be just the right size to hold my DSLR, an additional lens and my wallet, etc (although I do know it's not waterproof) ...

Can anyone share their experience with it??

Thanks!! I was getting confused because different websites have different measurements for the 2 bags. I figured the Mini might be too small but then wasn't sure if the regular would be too big? LOL Thanks!

I have the Betsy bag, but haven't used it in the park. I wouldn't just because the shoulder straps wouldn't work for me as a park bag. There are two of them and it does dig into my shoulder on a day trip after a while.

I think the mini is too small for a park bag, but the hipster is just the right size! My favorite is the drawstring bag just because it fits more and it doesn't bounce around when I walk:

Think of it as a "Maxi Hipster"

I really like the small zippered pocket with slots for cards, very easy access under the flap, so really, no wallet required.

Betsy Bag
Straps are not adjustable, it's more like a shoulder bag.
Personally, I'd get tired of carrying this one. I prefer an over-body bag.

Another alternative is the new Saddle Up bag. NICE!!!!
Long adjustable strap. Metal hardware. Magnet closure.
