Need your HELP!!! please!


what to do what to do? I have a ressie for July 26, 12 days, now the free dining is out for Aug and I can save 800 bucks!! One con of Aug is it is closer to school starting(DD didn't want to go right back after, she wanted some time), but no biggie. We would go Aug 16 or 17 for 12 days, not running into Labor day at all

I think I could get the same good plane tix, so far I did good for July 26-Aug 6.

But I did go Aug 23rd one year and it rained a lot!!! I can take crowds, or anything else, but hate hate rain when I am there. What do you all think I should do?? Any other reason you can think that I didnt for one or the other times? TIA

I think you might do better crowd-wise in August. Honestly, it's rained the last 2 times we've been to the world (October and January). Not much you can do about it.

We went last year at the end of august and are going again this year at the end of aug. It was hot but the crowds were so managable.
We did get stuck in tropical storm Fay last year. But it kept the tempature down a bit and kept the crowds down.

July, August and September are all part of the Hurricane and rainy season. You will have just as much a chance of rain in late July early Aug as you will in mid to late Aug. If that is your main concern I would definately switch if I could save $800. And as someone else said, crowd levels are usually a bit lighter during the latter part of August. There are also fewer tour groups in late August. If switching your airfare isn't costly I say go for it.

BTW, you said Memorial Day and I know you meant Labor Day.

There is a very good reason FD starts when it does. Odds of a TS increase exponentially after the second week of August.

I think a lot of the tour group activity may be over by the first week of August. At least I didn't see much last year at this time. Maybe someone else could confirm or refute this.
