Mary Poppins is on my list, but first I need to see Wicked. It's a shame - we have broadway in our back yard and we don't get to see as much as we want to. Chris has orders to get me to see Wicked by my birthday![]()
Ok, this is probably a stupid question, especially since I've seen zurgswife on here (who I'm assuming is not gay...there I go assuming), but is this only a gay-DIS meet? I'm guessing no, but don't want to be rude and assume.B/c if not, I'd love to meet up with some fellow DISers, especially if booze is involved.

Ok, so how is April 14 for everyone? Let's do this!
And HECK NO is it a gay only meet. It's a DIS meet in which I simply posted on the G/L board, that's all. EVERYONE OF ALL WALKS OF LIFE ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE.
I know a great place in the Village that has good martinis and other drinks. It's called The Garage. They play live jazz later in the evening too! How about 7pm? Or earlier. Added benefit is that it's spitting distance from the Duplex that is a gay/straight cabaret. That joint is a hoot! Plus, there's tons of places in the vicinity to grab a bite before hand for those inclined to eat before alcohol consumption.

What if Ann Coulterwas a DIS member ... could she come too?
Several years ago, I was reading one of Al Franken's books and was sorta surprised by his extreme feelings about this wench. In retrospect, gotta say the man was probably too restrained in his judgment. What if Ann Coulterwas a DIS member ... could she come too?
HECK yeah! You have no idea just how much fun I'd have playing with her.

Whew - that is a tough place to get into on a Saturday! The Garage is pretty popular (just an observation!)
Really? I've been there so many times on different days of the week and have found that if you go early enough, i.e. 7pm or so, it's not a problem. BUT it's been a while that I've been there on a Saturday at that time. Any other suggestions?
None - I also haven't been there in years...I like the place, just when I tried to get in it was much later than you are suggesting and it was packed.
