Is Wicked still in NY ?

Hey, Lurker, good to "see' you!

Yes, Wicked is still there and going strong - which is one of the reasons we haven't seen it - we usually get enticed up with "cheap" seats to shows that need some support - mostly the nonmusical variety, and then if we spend the night we catch whatever we can get tickets for - but Wicked hasn't been one of them.

Yep, Wicked is still at the Gershwin Theatre. Per Broadway dot com, individual tickets sales are available until 12/07, and group sales until 3/08. This some is AWESOME. If you go, sit in the middle. If you sit far left or right close to the stage you miss alot IMHO.

A saturday would work for us. My other half works nights, and is off on Saturdays.

we got about 3 inches already before I left the house for work... I am in West Philly now working and it seems like it had slowed down ... How much are we supposed to be getting ??? I just hope my relief comes in at midnite... I dont plan to have VD breakfast here at work ... blech ....

Between 4pm and now we have gotten more then we had gotten all day. And it is actually snowing for a change. Probabaly won't end up more then 1 or 2 inches though

Yeah, maybe we have two inches.

As usual, the snow isn't the problem; the problem of driving my son to work was the slick secondary roads.

My partner, I'm afraid, won't have a fun time of it by 10 PM tonight, but she's a better driver than I.

Back to the original topic at hand. What say we all try to meet the first or second Saturday of April (don't have my calendar on hand right now so what date is that?). Perhaps we can meet early evening or late afternoon or something and have a beer or two (or a few in some cases... like me... and a few martinis for others... like Ms. Viki). Maybe a bite someplace and then drinks after?

I am definitely intersted in an NYC meet! Last Fall I started organizing one but had some major personal issues come up that took me out of the area several times. I'm back and would love to meet other DISers here in NYC!

Rick suggested either the first or second Saturday in April. Sat. April 7th is the day before Easter, which may be difficult for some. I think Sat. April 14th is a good option, but I would want to go with the majority.
