Gotta call Member Services this morning. Randy & Alisa normally split the cost of the Photopass CD with us, so we all get our pictures. Well, we are both traveling with another family this trip, so we planned to split the cost between the four of us for $25 a family. I am hearing that if I call MS to get my DVC discount that it is working with the pre-purchase offer right now. That means that I get the pre-purchase offer for $99.95 and a $50 discount on top of it. If it works, then I get a Photopass CD for $49.95! It's worth a shot!

That would be fantastic!!!

Had a busy weekend! Plenty to share with everyone. We had our first theme meal on Friday night, date night and shopping on Saturday, and lunch with friends and a playdate for Cooper on Sunday. We'll get to all of that this afternoon. Have a great day. Less than 4 weeks now!

I'm so glad you are excited to stay there. We fell in love immediately. It is so serene. It feels like you are completely separated from everywhere else since it is so quiet.

Word of advice on the requests, don't do online check-in if you are really particular about where your room location is. The way online check-in is meant to work is that you will not request a change of room when you get your packet. Because of the layout of Kidani, we will never do online check-in while there. I don't want to be all the way on the end of the hallways closest to Jambo. It's such a long walk to the lobby and pool then. I have requested for this trip and last summer's trip to be close to the lobby and on either the 2nd or 3rd floor. If the room is too high, you don't get as good of a view of the savannah (some treetops to look through). Close to the pool doesn't matter since you get there through the lobby.

But, that'll be ok since we'll be in a 2BR!

I am getting anxious about the race. Starting to doubt myself. I ran yesterday and plan to run tomorrow as well. That will be my last run before the race.

These last few days are going to fly. Think about the remaining part of the school year. It's closing in on us now.

So, we had our first Disney theme night on Friday. We picked Bug's Life. I figured it would be something simple to do. That was the plan for the first night.

Originally, I was going to be alone, but Bryan had issues with Cooper hiding his shoes. Cooper helped throughout the day.

He helped make the worms in dessert by crushing the oreo cookies for the dirt.

I didn't really take pictures of the meal. I don't know why, Alicia. I can't explain it. Maybe I can do better next time.

Our menu?
We had rocks (burgers), leaves (chips), ladybug (strawberries with chocolate piping), and worms in dirt (dirt cake). Everyone ejoyed the meal, and we had great company, Bryan's sister and her family. For our craft, we made edible bugs using marshmellows (large and small), pretzel sticks, and icing. We all had a great time.

A couple of more things...Cooper wanted bugs for the table, so he found some stretchy bugs in the toy section at Wal Mart.

A student was at the party store last week, saw this, and gave it to me on Thursday morning.

Next meal...Saturday night at my sister-in-law's house. Theme? Princess and the Frog...

Cooper requested that we have frogs for dinner. Although we do eat frog legs here in South Louisian, it's not everyone's cup of tea. Stacey has found frog cookie cutters. Cooper is siked to have frog cookies.

Great job on the first night Megan!!!!!!!!! We still have something like 30+ weeks to go and Kata is already wanting to start!!! I told her to wait until 20 at the earliest....We shall see how long it lasts!

I cant wait to see pics of the "Frogs". That'll be awesome. Why not throw in some Gumbo too.....thats pretty cajun!!!!!!

P.S. I hope you're not as stressed about the run Saturday as I am.. your hubby told me he went run on Monday and HE had a difficult time.. since we've gone "primal" and gotten away from all the long-distance cardio.. I thought I would be ok-perhaps more rested.. after hearing what your husband told me yesterday, now I'm pretty sure I won't be!!! Gonna see how I do today around 7 with your hubby.. gonna try to run a "practice run".. oh well.. whatever will be, will be!!!

Love your food ideas! I can't tell you how many times I've almost forgotten to take pictures of our Disney night food. You know, in all of our Disney trips, I've very rarely taken pics of our food. Never thought anyone would be interested in them. We'll have a new rule on this trip: No one shall eat their food until Mommy has taken pictures of everyone's food. Will people stare? Yes. Do I care? No.

Great job Megan! Looks like a really fun night! Can't wait to see the Princess and the Frog night!
