Hey Mom, Do I get to be the line leader again? A PTR…(My TR has started! - 6/1)

Megan the story is too funny; about the little girl! that is something Gwendolyn would have done growing up :lmao:

I love the pictures of the beach at Poly...I wanted to try that last year and forgot I think I am going to have to remember that this year...Ashton would so love the beach area...I bet he would like the electric parade too!

So, happy to hear Cooper is feeling better...I think if he was like Gwendolyn they have felt bad for so long that it became second nature...and finally feel better that a little sore throat is nothing!

:wave2: Connie

What I find funny is that if you tell a kid, especially a talkative one, not to tell anyone, what do you think is going to happen?

The boys had a blast out there. It made the time go by pretty quickly. It's always great to have something for the kids to do while waiting for the fireworls to start.

That was one of our thoughts too, Connie. He's been bothered back there for so long that this is just a walk in the park.

Haha, I loved the whole Dum-Dum thing. My younger brother loves that part of the movie and would probably think the same thing once he saw it!

The story about that little girl from Universal is so funny! My mom always worried/worries about my brother saying stuff like that, not a "We're not supposed to be here" thing, but like if we pull him aside to step into a store at the mall because we feel as if we're being followed, he'd say, "How come you're pulling me into this store?" or something like that. Better yet, when my mom tries to tell him something in Chinese, he'll say it in English!

I hope Cooper continues to feel better and that his breath improves! How long is that supposed to last?

We loved it too Rachel. He kept telling us to look at Dum Dum and that he wanted to give him some gum-gum. It was cute. He was so excited about seeing him too.

Too funny that your brother translates. Love it!

The breath lasts until the scabs fall off, and we can properly brush his teeth. That is supposed to happen between days 5 and 10, so we are in tha range now. The problem is we can only brush the teeth in the front. We were given specific instruction to not brush back there in fear of brushing back too far and hitting the surgical site. I hope it is soon.

So, here we are 5 days into our trip, and we still have not stepped foot into the Magic Kingdom. Well, that all changes today. We woke up early to get to MK for rope drop, so we got to work with our morning ritual. I got up and got myself ready first, and then I got Bryan and the boys up to get ready and eat breakfast out on the balcony. After we were all ready, we head out to the bus stop and waited very little for the bus like we did all week.

We get to MK, and we arrived a little before Randy and Alisa. There was a bit of a traffic jam when we got to the tunnel right by the Contemporary. We must have sat in that tunnel for about 10 minutes. In the meantime, I embarrassed Bryan by helping out a family who was going to Chef Mickey’s for breakfast. They were going to take the monorail, but I informed them that if they didn’t want to wait on one they could walk there just fine. Once we got off the bus, I pointed them in the right direction, and they were on their way.

While waiting for the rope drop ceremony, we took a “family picture.” I'll have to ask Randy to post it since I can't find it.

Cooper wanted to be held, but only by Mr. Randy. However, when the ceremony started, the best view was on top of Daddy’s shoulders.

More to come…

Just posting to let everyone know that Randy and Alisa are on their way home. They were going to drive all night, but they decided to drive part of the way today and finish it up tomorrow.

I love the picture of the boys sitting at the bus stop! These are definitely the best kinds. I love silly pictures or unposed pictures. Really captures the mood of the vacation.

Ahh! Cooper's personalized Wall-E polo! So cute!

My goodness! I think you should rename that kid Cooper the Trooper!

He sure has been a trooper through all of this. Bryan's sister Stacey and her DH Sonny (our extra travelers) called last night to invite us to dinner. They also offered for one of their daughters to watch the kids. Well, the kids had pizza, and poor Cooper was so distraught that Bran let him try pizza. I know. We're pushing the limits here. He seemed to do well. He said it did not hurt when he swallowed, so we'll see where we go from here.

That's one of my favorite pistures. I love it when we catch them like that. That polo shirt was actually a gift from a friend. I loved it so much, and I am so sad it doesn't fit him anymore.

I have returned!!! Just to get to the point.. we had a BLAST!!! Universal Orlando was very fun.. it was a very relaxed.. laid back vacation.. HR3 was awesome!! We had a tremendous time, made a bunch of great family memories once again.. and now we are home.. the focus now is to get back into the "groove" of things again.. and start preparing for the SUPER DUPER MAY TRIP BACK TO DISNEY!!!!!

So glad Cooper is doing so well. SInce you have done both BB and TL which do you reccommend? Avery is a very strong swimmer (swim team) and Cayley also does very well. I don't think they would want to do thrill slides. We had BB on the agenda for last year but got rained out. Any advice you have would be great!

I love the opening shows at the parks. I have breakfasts planned every morning so I"m going to miss those this time. I may need to rethink our plans. :sad2: Is Cooper cloned or what??? I can't believe how much he looks like you Megan. :goodvibes

It's great that Cooper is doing so well. :thumbsup2

Hmmm! I have not thought about the opening shows (guess because we have never seen them)...now I need to rethink a day or two.
Happy to hear that Cooper is eating everything he wants!

Randy and Alisa glad you guys had a gret time! we can't wait to try out the HR3!! we are hoping Harry Potter will be open when we get there...

When are you guys going?

When are you guys going?
Randy we will be in Disney in 61 days :mickeyjum and Universal in 66 days :yay: (April 29 & 30)...
when I booked our room at the Royal Pacific (yes, we decided two nights:banana: )
the CM on the phone explained the express passes and said and I quote "if Harry Potter is open, we can use the EP once a day there" so I'm thinking we should be pretty close to the opening day...I never did take the time to see what the expected date of open is to be or even if they have given one...

we do it all in one trip (although, I'm missing SW again :headache: )we do not plan to go back to Orlando for about another 5 years after this trip...we have other locations to see

Thanks Mary!

We haven't done both water parks yet. We'll be hitting TL for the first time in May. The boys absolutely LOVED BB last summer. So much that Sam has told us that we are not allowed to got to WDW with out going to the water parks. There are some great play areas for kids. I think Bryan and Sam spent about 3 hours in the lazy river that day. BB has some great slides for racing and Teamboat Springs (family raft ride) is just fabulous.

If you end up wanting to go to BB, let me know. Alisa was able to stake a great spot. It stays in the shade all day and was super convenient to everywhere we wanted to go.

I love the opening cermonies too! We became extremely big fans at the one at AK as you will soon see.

Thanks! We have always said that Sam looks like Bryan and Cooper looks like me.

He is back to normal completely today. He is eating normal food, so everything is good again in Cooper's world.

Sorry to make you start rethinking some of those days. They really are great!

After going to typhoon lagoon on my last trip, it was absolutely amazing!!! the slides were super fun, the waves were enormous!!! and the atmosphere is very pretty:)
