Hey Mom, Check out my new Spider-Man move! (Last day & Final Thoughts - 1/10)

:rotfl: How is it that Mom always gets the blame for what other people "forget'?

Last fall, we went to the beach, and Elizabeth forgot her SWIMSUIT !!! Guess who got the blame for that? ME!?!?!? She said that I didn't remind her to pack it! I was like, "You're going to the beach---Do you really have to be reminded to pack a swimsuit?" :lmao:

I don't get it! Why do we have to be responsible for checking to make sure everyone remembers everything they need?

That is funny! However, it could have been Elizabeth's devious plan to get a new suit.

I told Bryan the same thing though. "You're going to be walking throughout WDW for a week. What made you think you wouldn't need your shoes?":lmao::lmao::lmao:

I just got married about a year and a half ago, and i'm already seeing this "wife gets blamed for everything i forgot to do" thing.... what is this!! i do not like this! lol!!

It comes around eventually. It didn't happen to me until we had Sam. I guess we always pack stuff for the baby that we adopt that role of being responsible for anything that is forgotten. LOL....I have no idea though.

Hey Megan! you and your SIL sound like the plan is in motion; can't wait to hear how this plays out...last year Danny forgot his wallet (of all things-best part was we had looked for Dayne's for close to 20 min before we left and he griped the entire time :lmao: )...

Cracker Barrel for breakfast what a great way to start the morning (other than I don't know if I would have wanted to wait that long; that close to Disney)...
:wave2: Connie

WOW! You went and back already!!! Where have I been??

I need to hang out on the forum a little more often. Damn office...they block every forum site on the planet. I have so little time to surf when I get home.

Can't wait to read all about the trip.

Thanks Connie! We are very organized people if I must say. I remember you saying that he forgot the wallet. That's too funny. SOmeone always forgets something.

We needed the stop. I know it's only 2 hours away, but we were tired.

Thanks for joining in! The school does the same thing. It blocks almost all forums, but surprisingly the disboards survives the blockage.

Where I left off last I had gotten myself and all the bags ready before I left for work. I get to school, and I have only a couple of things on the agenda for the morning...make sure my gradebook is in order and verify report card grades when guidance gave them to me. It seemed like everything that morning took forever. However, I was finished with everythig that I needed to do and had my classroom all locked up by 10:45. They announced that we could leave for lunch at 10:50, so I bolted out the door shortly after I turned everything in.

I forget to mention that while I was at school working, I got a text from Bryan. It said "What an I supposed to do today?"!!!!!! I reminded him he had to pack the truck, fill up the truck, etc. Plus, he wanted to cut the grass before we left so that we wouldn't come home to a field.

I drove over to my sister's apartment to pick her up. She was politely on time. She made sure she was not the cause of my being off my time table. Gotta love her for that. I picked us up some lunch at McDonald's since it was the closest place that had something for everyone. SUrprisingly, they were actually quick. I got home to find Bryan packing the last suitcase in the truck and the boys up and dressed. YAY Bryan!

We all ate lunch quickly. We were all in the truck and heading back to my school (which by the way is right next to the interstate exit) by 11:50. I got to school at 12, ran into the building, and signed out. I told my friends in the lounge good-bye as I walked/ran out, and we were on our way.

Stacey had to check her oldest out at school at 12. We had plans to meet up at a Shell station close to the school on the interstate once we were all signed out. we get there, and everyone was excited to go. Bryan decided he needed some candy for the road because he (and Randy) had decided to let the inner fat man out for the trip. They work out a lot and watch what they eat, so this week was a treat. He got back into the truck and we were on our way. ON TIME!!!!

Cooper and Madeline decided to switch sunglasses as we were getting on the road.

Next, how long do we stay on I-10?

Well, I know you're on it a whole lot longer than us, and it feels like FOREVER to me!

Glad you got off on time-and it looks like the boys loved having their aunt in the backseat with them to keep them entertained! :thumbsup2

Great update! I always get a rush of adrenaline right before we leave. Lol. I can't wait to hear more! ;)

:yay: to getting off on time...the kids and you guys are soooooo exicited! how can you not you are on your way to Disney! :mickeyjum too cute with the glasses! and doesn't it just seem to the ride that takes forever on I-10 especially once you hit FL (I find anyway)
:wave2: Connie

Yay, you're on your way!

This is totally random but hearing about I-10 makes me think of that one Carrie Underwood song (can't think of the name right now) but it says something about heading down I-10, Baton Rouge and LSU.

It takes forever on I-10. What's funny is that we get through LA, MS, ans AL rather quickly. Then FL takes forever, but it's still cheaper than flying.

Having Madeline can be a good thing and a bad thing. They don't annoy her, but her playing with them can get really loud sometimes. LOL...

Great updates!:thumbsup2

So funny about the shoes...hmm..I can definitely relate. It's happened to us before too!

That's great that you were able to leave on time!!:woohoo: Everyone looks so excited!!!:goodvibes

Can't wait for more!popcorn::
