Hey Mom, Check out my new Spider-Man move! (Last day & Final Thoughts - 1/10)

Hmmm - sharks and COLD water - doesn't sound like fun to me! I am with Sam on the lazy river love. That's more my speed, but I definitely want my tube!

It's one of those things that I was happy to do, but I was so happy to be done with it. My mom is coming next summer. I thought she would want to have a spa day while we were at the water parks, but no. She said she wants to be in the lazy river like Sam was. He is definitely exhausted when we get back to the room.

Hi Megan!! I just got caught up on your TR! I've been MIA here on the DIS for a few months but I'm back and counting down the days to our Nov/Dec trip!! I hope all is well!! :goodvibes

My boys are hams and like to do it up for the camera. Eventually all of Sam's pictures have an Elvis-like smile to them. I don't know why he was doing it. It just started showing up.

Can't wait to see that smile!!!

Happy Monday everyone!!!

Hey Becky! Glad to see you back on here too! I can't wait to hear about your Nov/Dec trip. I'm sure you will all have a great time!

I returned with my sister and two kids in tow, and Bryan told Madeline and I to go enjoy ourselves without the kids. We tried out a ton of stuff - Humunga Kowabunga (fantastic), Storm Slides (cool), and Crush n Gusher. That slide

was amazing!!!!

Madeline and I chose a two person rider. The PP people take a picture when you exit the ride. I was in the front; Madeline was in the back. We were thrown from the tube when we got to the bottom.

It was so much fun, and we can't wait to do it again!

While we were roaming about, Bryan took Sam....

Anybody?

On the lazy river again. Cooper stayed to play with Alisa in the sand.

Madeline and I decided to head out to the wave pool to check it out. Now we had been watching these massive waves from above ALL day. When we get in there, it switched to at least a half an hour of bobbing waves.

DSC00698.jpg

We decided to head back to the "shore" of the pool after a good while, and Madeline got caught (finally) in a giant wave as we got to where Bryan and Sam were located.

DSC00704.jpg

By this time, there was one thing we hadn't done yet - Gangplank Falls, the family raft ride. We started climbing to the top - all 5 of us. After about 5 minutes, Bryan noticed this.

DSC00706.jpg

Cooper wanted out. He was ready for a rest, so he and I headed back down while the rest of them.

DSC00711.jpg

Bryan convinced Sam to a bit venturing out to some of the other slides.

DSC00716.jpg

He loved them!

By this time, it was definitely close to 5:00. We began making our way to the entrance since it was close to closing time.

Our plan for the evening? Macho Nachos at ESPN Club. I figured we would all be hungry and this is one of Bryan's favorites.

We drove back to Kidani, got ready, and began our way back to the Boardwalk area. We had made the turn towards the Boardwalk area when Bryan got a phone call from his sister. THEY HAD RAN OUT OF GAS. I couldn't believe they never thought to mentione, "Hey! We need some gas!" Thus begins the 45 minute fiasco to get from Kidani to Boardwalk.

Since we were almost there, we got a gas can and filled it at the Hess Station by BW.

Don't let Bryan's smile foll you. He was frustrated.

We drove back to Kidani and turned around to find them so that Sonny could fill up his tank.

DSC01884.jpg

After what seemed like forever, we finally arrived.

DSC01887.jpg

We had a bit of a wait at ESPN, so Cooper dedcided to try to check things out.

DSC01889.jpg

Now for the meal...

Macho Nachos - don't let them fool you! They are fantastic!

DSC01899.jpg

Bryan always gets the hot dog (and never finishes it).

DSC01900.jpg

The pulled pork sandwich is awesome!

DSC01901.jpg

The boys just got burgers. Cooper enjoyed his worms in dirt dessert.

DSC01906.jpg

Bryan and I don't get dessert at ESPN. We go down a couple of stores to ...

DSC01896.jpg

for some goodies.

Tomorrow's update - Summitt Plummett

Yay, you are back!! Loving all the updates!! I think i am going to take the girls to TL next spring.

Fantastic Update!!!! The gas "episode" with Sonny.. is just too FUNNY!!! Great pics of the waterslides.. and well.. you know how much I love the NACHOS.. oh man......

Brings back some very, very fond memories.. what a great trip that was!!! Can't wait for the Blizzard Beach update!!!

Mardi Gras update- We have secured our One Bedroom (totally psyched about this) Bay Lake Towers room for the week - our first waitlist-, and we have secured Supercalifragilistic (sp) Breakfast.. and we plan to hit either T-rex or Rainforest for one other meal.. the rest of the meals will be OOP.. counter services..

We are very excited.. counting down the days...

Wow! You guys spent an entire day at Typhoon Lagoon and were able to see and do it all. We've never spent the whole day at the water park because it seems to get so busy by mid-afternoon.

Before I read the caption under the picture, I thought "man he sure doesn't look like them running out of gas ticked him off". Tell Bryan he's a good actor.:thumbsup2

The food at ESPN looks really good. We've never eaten then nor have we gotten over to the Boardwalk at all. Sounds like we may need to add that to our "to do" list.

Since Bryan NEVER smiles like that for pictures------I could tell he was not too happy. LOL
Yummy nachos. Knowing Chase we'll have to make a stop at ESPN for our trip. We never pass it up.

We won't have any trips together next year:sad2::sad1: BOO HOO!!!!

Yeah.. that is one big downer.....

Well, today marked our 7 month mark until our next summer vacation.

:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:WE WERE ABLE TO BOOK A 1 BEDROOM AT WILDERNESS LODGE!:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

We are all so excited. We haven't stayed there since we took our DVC tour. So happy to be back there...I remember how much the boys LOVED the boat ride to the MK.

I have been talking with my mom and sister. Lucky for us, they want to eat at all of Bryan's favorite restaurants while we are there. We just need to pick out a couple more places, and then we'll be ready to go for our 180 day mark on December 1.

Catching up from your updates! Haha, I'm going all the way back to Sept 12!!!

Weird and I missed the Backlot Tour because we didn't realize that it didn't go until late at night. Even though it wasn't as important for us to ride as say, Toy Story Mania, we were still disappointed! Next time! Even if some of the movies are outdated, it's still fun to see props!

Oh cool, I think Weird would love that stormtrooper painting with the reflection in the eyes!

Awww, I didn't even notice that Cooper was propped up on the trash can until MeMom commented on it! Haha, anything that helps! Besides, if you're going to do on any trash can, the best ones are Disney ones!

Looked like a good 'Ohana meal! Looking forward to that in February! We're going to be a table of 6, so I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun with packing away the food!

WHOA, all those tubes in the Lazy River in the morning??? Haha, that's amazing! I could sit in a lazy river all day long. If there weren't any cold water sprays (don't know if they have it there, but they have them at my timeshare), it'd be absolutely perfect!

The lunch in the sandbuckets is the perfect idea! Haha, I think I'd want to order a kid's meal just to get that.

Wow, I didn't realize the wave pool was so large! Are there lifeguards around the part where the wave originates? Never mind ... I just scrolled down and saw your next picture!

Mmm, the food at ESPN looks so yummy! Haha, it's like, "classier" junk food or junk food done well.

We've built in a resort hopping day for February, and I'm really into checking out the Boardwalk Bakery! Hope it happens!

And YAY for Wilderness Lodge!

Woo hoo for getting the 1 BR at Wilderness Lodge!

AWESOME news!!! The wilderness is the last place that we have left in our quest to stay at all the WDW DVC resorts...

Yay, you are back!! Loving all the updates!! I think i am going to take the girls to TL next spring.

Thanks Mary! I'm happy to be posting again!

Take them to the water parks! They are so much fun! Well worth the day out of the parks. Bryan and I have had conversations of having a water park only trip some time in the future.

I don't think we could have planned something like that even if we tried. It was frustrating in the moment, but oh so funny afterwards.

I know...all of this brings back some awesome memories from this summer. Update coming up...

I know yall will have fun! I look forward to hearing about it. I'm sure we'll have a viewing party soon after you return.

You got it Lisa....ALL DAY!!!!! If you can get through that mid-day swell, the throngs of people will start to head out around 2:30 or 3. After thata, it's a practically empty pary. AT the end of the day, Bryan and his godchild went on Crush N Gusher 5 times in a row...NO LINES AT ALL!

He was definitely not happy.

ESPN is definitely delicious. We always pay OOP for it though since it is not terribly expensive.

You know him well...not a big smiler.

I know. Who knows when the next one will be? Tivets might be joining us for summer of 2012 to bring Ava for the first time. Plus, the boys begged to go to SWW after watching the video during Cooper's party.

WOW big post! I need to go catch up on yours as well.

The boys actually liked the Backlot Tour. They just didn't care for Catastrophe Canyon. It freaked them out a little bit.

I had to take away all credit cards and Bryan's KTTW before going into the souvenir shop for SWW. He would put us in the poor house for this stuff.

Ohana was definitely amazing as usual. I'm sure everyone around was rolling their eyes at us loud Cajuns. We participate in everything they have to offer. We made friends with the ukelele man.

Cold water sprays are defintiely on the lazy rivers. Blizzard Beach makes them a little bit colder though because it is a "ski resort."

Yep, lifeguards posted all along and at the edge of the wave pool.

We are so excited for VWL. It was one of the places we really wanted to stay at besides AKV.
