Yep... that's the one thread # up in the top right....I was hoping someone noted the # ,.....if not I'll search it down....Tx :sunny:
by the way you'se guy's seem to be really "cookin'", everyone into the pool....!! :Pinkbounc

Hi,
It's Wendy here, sorry, we've been up at the lake house we have trying to stay cool! I would like the thread number with everyone's name and kids info too! Still trying to figur out excursions for Cabo. Is anyone going with Los Veranos in PV? We're going around 11 am.
I also need info and brown bag items, what was the suggestions?
Thanks
Stay cool!
Wendy :cool1:

I've been on every single thread a little too much lately but have
learned so much. Cabo looks like one of the most beautiful stops...
we are taking the Scenic Harbor tour, the early one, so we can
get back on the ship by lunch.
Nothing in Mazatlan (sp?)
PV: going to one of the hotels Disney is offering - early trip
Paradise Beach - someone on the ship this week said the place
is beautiful)

bag ideas: something from your home state......like a lobster tail
(JUST JOKING)....alot of us talk about food (because it IS our life) but
anything from your area....I'm not going to give you ideas from my area,
just in case you would get 'my bag'......I may need to go over the $10 mark
just a wee-bit - so many things from the PA Dutch Country......
NH has maple syrup (just think of something like THAT opening in
the suitcase :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: ) - are you near the
Yankee Candle Factory......did i help you at all?

I just arranged transportation services and a tour in LA - WE ARE READY! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
Lucy

Thanks Lucy, I too hvae been reading everyones reports eagerly! Do you know what #post on our thread has the list of everyones names and kids info? I'm trying to find playmates for my girls ages 15 and 12.
Tequila tasting? Anyone know if there's info on when this is? Do you sign up onboard?
We are traveling with my inlaws and my mother so I'll be needing this tasting! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Happy Thursday!
Wendy :cool1:

Lisa has been SO GREAT at keeping up this list - I'm not sure if
there was a later one than Post 601 - try it. page 41.

I have mine hanging on my refrigerator!

I figured I'd repost the list instead of everyone searching for it again.......Ok, so this is our compiled list of thread members who've checked-in with their info at one time or another - please note the ages listed are the ages at the time of the cruise. If I've omitted anyone it's purely by mistake, not intention!

Since Patricia "officially" joined us, I'm reposting the list AGAIN!

By the way Patricia, when my mom and I first moved to California we lived in Riverside and I went to Gage Middle School and a semester at Poly H.S. Since you're an AD in Riverside, I figured you'd recognize those names. (We moved to Irvine so that's why I didn't finish at Poly.) I don't live too far from you in Murrieta!!!!!

OK, here goes........

:rotfl2: your mother's age? this group FORCED me to reveal mine....
it really hurt - just kidding..... :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

how is the state of shake and bake coming along?

Thanks again Lisa

WE TURNED THE CALENDARS TODAY
Lucy

Thanks Lisa! The list really helps!
Patricia: If your neice Halley gets bored in the teen room, My daughter is 12 and a half, but still has to go with the kids! She would love a play mate
We're also traveling with my retired mom (Ann) and Dennis Parents
(Frank and Pauline)
Looks like there's a bunch of us on floor 6!
Wendy :goodvibes

Lisa - Yes the pizza and bagels here are to die for, I just can't eat pizza anywhere else. Guess what I'll be having for dinner when we get back from the cruise. LOL. Oh, and thanks for posting the list again, it willhelp to try to keep track of everyone!
Wendy - We are scheduled for the DCL Canopy Tour, but I have been reading really good things about Los Veranos and am thinking of switching. It seems like their lines are higher and longer, and their price is a little better. Also, you don't have the 20 minute walk uphill after, that sounds REAL GOOD to me. LOL. We also have a DD 15 so that might be nice if we tag along with you guys. My DH will be diving that day so it will just me and the girls.
Patricia - An official welcome to you.
Now we turn the calendars and it is July 1st, Hooray. I actually get a 2 day weekend this weekend and am looking forward to that. 27 days till we leave for DL and 29 days till we cruise, ARE WE PSYCHED OR WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
Debi

Debi-I hear ya on the pizza thing. I force myself to eat pizza here in CA only because there are no other options and the kids LOVE pizza. I keep saying if a New York Pizzeria opened up out here they'd make a mint...it would have to be authentic NY Pizza though. Oh well, gives me another thing to look forward to when I go to NY!!!!

Actually, we will most likely place Halley in the kids club instead of the teen club. Although, knowing her, she will most likely not leave my side the whole trip. Mary, on the other hand, has read the entire Passporter book, most of the 4 Disney trivia books (hoping to be chosen for Who Wants To Be A Mouseketeer) and just about every web site on the Magic. She has her itinerary planned, including what she will be eating, when and where!

Ahh Poly, huh? Well, I guess I can talk to you. I was at Rubidoux, but have just left to go to a brand new, state of the art, unbelievable, no expense spared campus (not that I am bragging :) ) called Citrus Hill (Orange Crest area). I too went to school in the OC - Foothill High.

why isn't anyone talking about the good old cheesesteak from PA!
(right, Bill????????) - it isn't all about pizza, girls! (although I would rather eat pizza than a cheesesteak) and the only good bagels we get
around here are from Panera Bread! I would just LOVE to have a
good bagel right now.

My friend lives in Orange Crest...that's the H.S. where her girls will go. She currently has one in elementary and the other in middle school, so it will be a while before they get there. I remember Rubidoux and rivalries...I don't remember much since I was only there a semester. I ended up graduating from University H.S. in Irvine and then of course UC Irvine. My DH graduated from Loara H.S. in Anaheim (yes, the mouse is near and dear to his heart!) and then SDSU for a while, finishing off at CSU Fullerton. My sister in law's kids will go to Foothill High if I recall correctly!

Well, I do love Philly cheese steaks...FRANK's to be specific. I spent a LOT of time in Philly for work so I did get to enjoy the local delicacies there too. Can you tell I'm ALL ABOUT THE FOOD?!?! I can tell you what the local specialities are for every city I've been to.... :o

Between iwilliam and lisa talkin' 'bout them Cheese steaks...... :teeth:

The only Cheese Steak is PAT'S in South Philly...street dirt, oily, onions,Katchip, music blasting, beer :p ..... :sunny: "Slider's Man".... :Pinkbounc There's other Steak places, but Pat's is the best... :cool1:
At this point in my life.... I do it once a year, and spend the balance of the year getting the colest. back down...... :bitelip: thank God it's 60 miles away,or I'd be outta here tonite..... :sad2:
Hey, I hope all you guy's in Ca are safe from those fires.... how close is it ??
