Bob and I are watching the Canal prices for east to west....just the two of us...I don't know, 15 days without the kids, what in the world would we do The only one I could do would be the East to West - my school ends in May, tyler would need to stay home, but that
has ALWAYS been my dream cruise, Panama Canal. I don't know what will happen......that is a long time to be away, I'd miss the boys so much

I watched the Magic go through the canal (East to West) last year on the internet. How fascinating! I had NO CLUE how small it truly is (width wise)! I think that would be a wonderful trip! Two weeks without the kids.....SIGN ME UP!!!

This back pain is really starting to depress me....seriously. I am a mess. I really don't care about anything right now. I don't even want to go out this weekend. However, my family has different plans. M&M are less than cooperative which makes it even more frustrating! Mark wanted me to go ou with him and another couple tonight. I sent them off on their own...... I have an MRI on Thursday. I have told the doctor that he had to either sedate me or shoot me to get me in that "tube"! I have done it twice and I am morbidly afraid of it!!! If you haven't had one and you don't like tight places, it's not the place for you!

LOOOOSY~ Grey's Anatomy is my favorite show! Mark and I are faithful. I like the Friday repeat, since I slept through the Thursday showing! At our training this week they asked if you could be any TV personality who would you be and why? I said Ellen Pompano, so I could make out with Patrick Dempsey!!!!

No, Lynn, we couldn't possibly do an eastbound - my school starts the last week of August. We are also discussing the reality of being away from home for two full weeks, with Tyler still in high school. But, the price is killing us, and, Jenny, I too watched the ship go thru the canal and it was a wonderful site. The Canal and Hawaii have always been my dream cruises, and, now, also visiting England and some wonderful friends, and sleeping in their
garden

SO cold and windy here today...Mr. Williams is off to work. The boys got Hard Rock shirts (which I don't know if either one appreciated), and I got a Disney shirt, which i LOVE...poor guy, he visited about 12 stores looking for Crocs for me, and said all he could find were kids sizes and ugly colors. I want both the Disney black crocs and either the "Jenny crocs" or "Kathy/JoAnn" crocs. Looks like we can only find them on-line.

Shopping at Wallyworld this afternoon, I want to shop while the sun is still shining, because by nightfall, it will be SO COLD.

I'm so sorry, Jenski, how can you enjoy OUR birthday with back pain??? You're working too hard.......

Call me anytime, Luski,......I am ready to plan.......let's make sure to stop by the Journey store next weekend where we found the "Kathy" Crocs......Don't worry, I think the Crocs are going to explode this year, the store I was at had all kinds of sandals, boots, holed shoes and solid clog types. I'm sure everyone will have them this summer. I found a pair of red MM Crocs with black trim (which I only wear on special occasions!) I also have navy blue and black and I truly wear them almost everyday. They've been great for my legs (remember "the procedure" from before our cruise!) The kids MM Crocs were on all the kids a few weeks ago at WDW.

I realize we're tentatively planning a Chicago trip and a East Coast trip this summer, but, consider a Half Marathon trip next January ...........It turns out, you can "walk" it and I can walk anywhere (just not run.) We really had a blast and it was so cool watching all the serious athletes as well (Ken. ) I finally had the limoncello margarita in Italy, so much fun!

About the western cruise..........I just don't know.........I guess we should be booking right now.............the West/East trip, Lynn, what is the last day back? My school, I think will have started by then........... ....let me know!!

I was at the Mall with Mallory in Northern KY. She had an audition to model in a style show in April. We'll know Feb. 1st.

I wanted to go into a couple of stores and of couse we ended up in the Disney Store. They now have adult clothing again! However, I hit additional 50% off racks. I got her the cutest pair of jeans with a princess crown sewn on the back pocket with gold thread and rhinestones on the tips. They were reg. $40 and I paid $10!! I also got her a sweatshirt that was a sewn on Bambi (they had all kinds) for $5!! They also had cute hats for women for $1.99!!! They had other things, but she is my only one who really still wears "character clothes"! I wanted a pair of jeans that had black sketches all over them, but they didn't have "my size"! They were on $10 too!!!

Bob & Lucy...the family took me to the Montgomery Inn Boathouse for dinner last night! Fabulous! However, I didn't have room for Greater's Ice cream! J, M&M did....BLACK RASPBERRY CHIP for the boys! We had a great river view table. Unfortunately, the river is VERY HIGH, but it sure made for a pretty view!

As for the Crocs. Mark went online to buy me the red MM ones and they were out of them!!! I want a pair SO BAD!!!! I did get a new Reds sweatshirt that I requested and a Bronson Arroyo jersey. The Reds got new uniforms, so it was cool (John was JEALOUS!!!)

As for the b-day....let's just celebrate JOANN'S!! I am not in the mood for parties, birthdays, etc. Seriously folks, I am DEPRESSED!!! Yes, JoAnn and I are in the "mids", but she is one mid above me!

Well our local boy Rex Grossman is going to the Super Bowl! Good for him! This game now (Colts/Patriots) is a lose, lose for me. I am now going for the Bears!

Alex is doing better, she went back to school today. She feels like she has a really bad sore throat and ear ache. She is still not getting anything really solid down, though.

OK, now I have to vent a little and say that my feelings have been hurt. My birthday has come and gone twice since we have been on this board, and NOT ONE PERSON has ever wished me a happy birthday. Yes, my birthday was 5 weeks ago, December 13th...we seem to remember everyone else, but forget about little ole' me...there, I said it and got it off my chest.

Joann and Lucy You need to let me know what your plans are for Saturday, maybe Micco will come into the city by train with the girls in the afternoon and I will drive in straight from work.

Oh and by the way, it's not Micco, nor I that are having trouble committing to the Med, it's our DD who may be going to SS again this summer, so that kind of kills the whole thing. Micco says we are waiting now on midterm grades, but I think it's a done deal.

I made up with my DD19........... .........my DD22 sent me flowers at school so my day was made.......I was shocked.........maybe it's not a total loss!!

Someone at school was really nice and said "Happy Birthday!" and then she quietly pulled me aside and said, "How old are you?" I said, "45," and she said, "You know, your metabolism will never be the same, that's about when it happened to me!"
