"Supposedly" this is my LAST day of "the year" - but that might change - professors are asking if I'll be in on Monday to help "them with grades" - AND WHAT degrees do these PROFS have and what degree does LUCY have, and what salary do THEY make compared to LUCY....ok, I feel better

I'm only going to give you short update on mum - don't wanna bore you guys - she had ANOTHER surgery yesterday - feeding tube - that's all i'm gonna tell you, but THEN JOANSSIE asks me if I'm ready for the BIG DAY!

Write you guys this weekend - in hopes of this being my last day of the year - gotta get to work!

Well my carpet is almost down. It would have been finished, but the Buckeyes came on TV.... So, I patiently await its completion. I am so excited...it is BEAUTIFUL!! Interestingly, my FIL has had a blast and has decided to stay AGAIN tonight (night #3). He has never come without MIL and it's obvious he is having a blast with the kids. Marshall has been right by his side with tools in hand helping. I took some of the most precious pictures of the two working together. This is one moment I know we will cherish.. Monday the starts!! Hopefully this project us wrapped up by Monday or Tuesday night. Mark and John are still looking for two tickets to the Monday Night Football game.......Cincinnati AT Indianapolis...just 50 miles from here. It's not looking too good for them. I'm staying home!

And, NO LUCY, the darn tree still isn't up!!! Maybe tomorrow...

I have four more student days and one teacher workday. I can work Friday, or Friday the 5th. I want it OUT OF THE WAY!!!!!! And, we are HALF WAY through the school year!!!!

So how's Debi and Kathy???????????

I so wish you guys could see this tree - you would think you were in the Wilderness Lodge, WELL maybe not
Debs, Micco being a hunter would LOVE it! I can't believe we have a rustic family room, Bob is NOT a hunter, but we have deer everywhere...it looks SO cool. AND, as you will all know by our cards, it is also Disney themed.
Feel lucky, my friends, you are the ONLY ones who get Christmas cards from
our family....no time for anyone else....although, our local friends, received an invite to an open house between Christmas and New Year...more about that later, I'm sure, when I start complaining about it on here (and it was MY idea). Then, after the new year, gotta start practicing for my marathon in Disney with Ken....I hope 2 or 3 days is enough practice....I really don't like exercise, as you guys can tell

Yesterday was SO exhausting...I was actually in bed by 8:00...I thought I would pass out, no kidding. Had to be at work to monitor graduation by 7:15, then raced out to my mom in the hospital for a few hours (she is having some mental problems again, due to the anesthesia - so scary), then picked up pizza for dinner, mixed a batch of cookiees, cleaned up....and bingo...I've had it.....when I was driving to hospital (Bob doesn't know this!)...I almost passed out, from exhaustion...never felt that way before.
Was actually going to take a little nap in my mum's room, but visitor's came in to her roommate that I knew, and of course, I must chat with them

Today, Tyler and I will be going to church (Bob already at work at 7:00 AM), run out to hospital in Allentown, come home, roll out cookies, and run to Reading, to meet Bob after work at 4:00 to go to his niece's graduation party. Hopefully be home by 8:30.....and WHEN do gifts come into this season.....i've still got a week.

Whew, I'm exhausted!!! I JUST READ LUCY'S POST! Guess what? I joined WW (again!!!) So today, I'm working on trying not to eat! Bad time of year, I know!

Anyway, I bought more stuff so now I have to wrap it..........then finish the tree (decorating) then go to a family party .............THEN WATCH SURVIVOR FINALE!!

Honestly, I'm a little tired too Lucee, ..............kidding aside, I hope Mom's okay !

Hope all are well, I guess Lynn is in Madiera?

It gets easier every year.... The christmas card list keeps growing though.... But we love receiving them,and The Al'ster begins writing them in August....

update on mum: beginning of this week was not good (again), tonight was a little better - this is definitely an uphill battle......wonder why i don't feel well tonight, oh, I know - i'm NOT sitting around twidling my thumbs!

6:00 in the evening, and i must bake a cheesecake for Bob for work, and make taco dip, in addition to going to the high school to hand out DVD's of our musical....do I even have thumbs?

Well ,just watch sports on TV... Since Philly has lost "the Answer",to Denver....I love how the sports writers destroy these hot shot players in this town... No loss,the guy is bad new's....but he could shoot... with the ball and with his handguns....

That's two that I can remember this year......T.O. and now the Answer... The whole thing is a load of BS.....

I feel Iverson gave 100% every game, he was fun to watch, but could never pull the team into a
Champnship...

Well.........tomorrow is the last day for students and they are officially HALF WAY THROUGH the year!! I work Friday to do cumlative cards, report cards, etc. I have a parent conference at 2:30, then I can think about Christmas at home. Nothing's wrapped, but the tree was officially finished at about 8 p.m. on Sunday night.

My new carpet is in and looks MAGNIFICENT!!!! The painter has come and gone without incident. We rearranged the furniture and somehow it looks HUGE. Mallory asked how we "stretched the room"! I feel like I have a junior suite!

So, what to cook on Christmas?? Mark suggested that we just go with the flow! I like that!!!!!

Funny thing......we have noticed that Mallory seems to be "up on" the Santa thing. Her little side comments lead us to believe that she is in strong question. However, Marshall is still hook, line, and sinker. How funny is that? She is 7 and he is 9!!! I dread the day where we don't have any believers.... If any of you have read the book or saw the movie "Polar Express".... Mallory found a bell in the decorations box Sunday. She started shaking it and shouting "I still believe!!!!"

I LOVED the Bolusi card as well Lucy!! Joann...all I can say is "DUH"!!! My kids wanted to know where Alex was in the picture. I still can't bring myself to fess up on that one!!

My cards were just mailed today. Hopefully they will beat Santa to your houses!!! I do a newsletter, but usually don't send them to those who see or talk to regularly. However, you will like my newsletter or should I say OUR picture (MM and all her friends!!).

Welcome back everyone!! Jenny, I kinda wish I was working with you...........halfway done already!! What a great deal!!! The DDs and I are going to our "annual" tomorrow, so I'm off and then back for one more day of holiday cheer with the students!

How funny with me and "the card!" No newsletter here, I was going to send one but then I didn't! I afraid to jinx the girls if I brag too much! It's hard to believe it's so close..................
