I'm here JoAnn and I haven't started packing yet but I am thinking about it. The kids are in camp this week so I'll have plenty of time to get organized.

The heat finally broke here but my lawn is brown. My water bill will add insult to injury next month as we upped our watering schedule in a futile attempt to keep the grass some shade of green. We'll seed and aerate in the Fall so hopefully it will be green again soon.

Lucy, I'm so sorry about your loss. JoAnn is right. It's good you were able to make it to the memorial service without having to interrupt your vacation.

Debi, Ted registered for the fantasy football last night. He was quite excited about his "Tedskins". We got an email for NFL.com this morning however letting us know that not enough people had signed up so we were being disbanded. Bummer. Your pictures were great!

Jenny and family finally get home today don't they? I kept thinking during our reunion how much Owen and Amy would have enjoyed hanging out with Marshall and Mallory. Next time!

We've decided to list the house in October after we get back from Vegas. We're going to give 2 realtors one time listing contracts to show the house while we're gone in August though. We hope to get some good feedback about pricing and how the house is showing.

Yesterday was Ted's 45th birthday. We celebrated on Friday night.

Last night we were invited to dinner at the home of one of the drs in the private group that Ted moonlights with. (They're trying to woo Ted into joining their group when he retires from the Navy. Ted hasn't told them yet that we're headed back to California.) He and his wife are both drs who came to this country from India in 1992 with 5 bags and $500.00 between them. They just moved into a custom built $3M waterfront home. They are only 43. They are so grateful for all that this country has to offer. I thought their story was so cool. They started out in NYC in an unfurnished apartment. They slept on the floor for 2 months before they could afford to buy a mattress. I love when good things happen to good people. They prepared the most wonderful dinner. I had never had Indian food before and I was a little nervous but everything was wonderful.

Welcome Bri! It good to have you here. Are you coming down to WDW with your parents over Columbus Day weekend?

Lucy and Bob, Did you get your PFTS tickets yet?

I'll be back in WDW 2 weeks from today! I kept thinking it was 4 weeks away during our reunion but it was actually only 3. Time is flying by!

Kathy: we are NOT coming down in October. Yes, we have our tickets for trick-or-treating, but, that compared to spending an additional $1,000 on airline, food, etc. we decided to bag the trip. Yes, we are a little sad, but have so much more to look forward to. We are trying to save up for the Med. but if that doesn't pan-out, we'll be down to Disney in March with our music group, and then a very LONG time in the summer (if Med doesn't come about - only thing I'm worried about is the airfare with the Med and the $$$$$$$$$$$) I'm seeing HORROR stories on the price of airfare.
Not a bad thing, is it? Either a trip to the Med or 2 weeks in Disney in the summer. We are very lucky to have both options.

October is a very busy time for us anyway. Now that we are NOT going to Disney, we are either going to Washington or Williamsburg the weekend of
Columbus Day, then the following weekend is a family wedding, then comes our WONDERFUL, EXCITING weekend in NYC , then another family wedding at the end of the month, with all my relatives coming in from California and Pittsburgh.
OK, we are NOW in November, and then it will be all about AIDA!

Today, Bob is working again, more laundry for me.
Jenny FINALLY returns home tonight. Thinking of HER laundry duties compared to mine!

Kathy - Thanks for that info about the FF. Micco and I were trying to get into this morning, and couldn't and were wondering why. I figured that may have been the reason, when I created it, I made the draft too soon. I am not sure how many teams you need in a league to run it, maybe 6 or more. So I recreated the League (you should all be getting emails again) and the draft is the 14th of the month, autmoated draft, so you don't have to be there, they will pick the team for you. Jenny, Ted and Allie You guys need to rejoin. Jenny, maybe Mark and John will join too. And Lucy - just humor me, join the darn league, it will be fun! JoAnn - I knew nothing about FF when I played last year, but I am still learning. Lynn - Not sure how much you know about American football, but you and Keith should join too!

So glad Bri is on the board with us, boy last w/e really had a positive effect on her. I think it is you Lucy, and she is really glad you guys made a decision to go on the Med cruise. I am hoping it is the catalyst she needs to do well in school this year, knowing what she will be missing if she has to go to SS. Right, Bri...now I know you're listening.

Alex hasn't been on because she has no internet connection at her place. Plus, with her last week, finishing up, I am sure she is busy. She will be home Friday and then I am sure she will visit us a little more regularly.

Lucy - Again, I am sorry for the loss of your friend, I know yesterday was a tough day for you.

Kathy - I think the October trip is not going to be in the cards for us either, we really need to save for the Med too. Plus, we have friends that moved to the Clearwater area about 2 years ago, and we haven't been to see them yet. If we go down to Disney again this year, and don't go to visit them, I will feel so guilty.

Well it's good to be back as DisneyMom, no offense Captain Nemo, but I want my own posts to myself.

Lucy - They have prices up for airfare through the beginning of July 07 and it's looking like around $5,000 r/t non-stop on Continental from Newark to Barcelona. Within the next month the fares will be out for our time period and we can book. I am wondering if we can get a group discount if we all book together, since we are well over 10 people. I think we are 18 all together with Bill and Alice and the Becks. Once we book airfare, there is no turning back. Remember Lucy the trip of a lifetime with people you love and have fun with. If you don't go, you will probably make Bob's live miserable from July 28th to August 8th of next year, thinking of us on the cruise and you're not, am I correct? Besides, Briana won't go w/o you! Do you want to have that on your conscience? Love ya Luce!

Here we are in lovely, sandy,hot Brigantine.... The panic is on ,get to the beach before the crowd.... : and boy is it ever crowded this summer It appears Brig sold to many beach permits for the suv crowd, and the people are flocking to the cool waters of South jersey...
Due to all the traffic the beaches are churned up more than normal,causing vehichles to be stuck in the sand.... Much grief Actually, the only relief is in the water.... JoAnnnn has the kyacks for a deversion, and everyone enjoys them,paddling amonst the skates,manna rays,dolphin,sharks.... Of course JOAnnmn never gets stuck.....HoHoHo.... :

we don't mind what we do in NYC as long as we see you all...Lucy you have to come to the med otherwise I'm never crossing the pond again!!!!!!!!!!!!!
From this side of the ocean we can get fares for the equilivant of $1000 each most times sometimes less like in october and sometimes more like at Xmas!!!!! $1600 come on you have to come and see us in Europe.

Great weekend. won two of three. saw many Braves players in the bar last night. THat Andruw Jones is a cutie. I'd like to pinch his cheeks (his face cheeks too!!! )

I don't have that much laundry. Just four days worth. I stayed up until midnight last week before we left to take home only clean clothes. I'll be unpacked in about a month...... However, we go again Wed. night for the Reds/Cards. Then Mark and John go Sunday for Bengals/Redskins. That's an 8:00 p.m. start on NATIONAL TV. Watch for them in orange!! I hate to show up late the first day, so I am bagging the game. It's only preseason.....

Sounds like you guys have a lot of planning to do without me......I sure wish I could do NYC, but that's not going to happen.

LONDON!!! and then London to Barcelona, all on British Airways - I would tell you a quote but I forgot what he said). Yes we had a great weekend at the beach here, the weather was beautiful and the ocean water isn't as cold as it's been!! I was boogie boarding with my two nephews.....we had a blast (it reminded me of my M&M time at WDW!)

No pressure, really, Lucy, you KNOW I'm not that way!!

Jenny, I hear you. I'm sad that we're not going to be able to make the NYC reunion either. Lynn and Keith, we'll see you during your next visit. Think west coast in 2008.

Speaking of 2008, JoAnn, We're interested in cruising on 'Freedom of the Seas'. You mentioned that you guys might be too. Anyone else?
