David - The tour with Frank's is not actually a DCL excursion, its something we are doing on our own. It is $22 p/p and he is supposed to be able to take us just about anywhere we want to go. We would just have to figure out between the group what we really want to see. I know my DH would like to see a cigar factory and perhaps a tequila factory. Hopefully Lynn & Keith will be up for that too. I am easy and am just along for the ride. Also, we are doing Randi's Happy Horses in the morning (as well as Lynn and Keith). Randi and Frank know each other and have the whole thing worked out with times.
Debi

Debi -Count us in. Do we need to inform Frank or is everything set?
We'd be interested in seeing the Viewpoint, Cliff Divers and maybe the Market. We'll probably just wander around in the morning and meet up where ever Frank is picking us up. Any suggestions for Cabo? Sounds like Lynn is doing a ATV Desert tour.

Anyone else get their docs today??? :goodvibes

I called DCL today and they told me our docs were sent to our TA on 7/6. So, I emailed my TA and she said the docs were received by her main office yesterday and they're forwarding to her. She'll have them by Monday and then will send them to us via UPS 2nd day so I'm figuring it will be Wed/Thurs before I see them. That seems like a crazy process and boy does it add time to the whole thing! Oh well, at least I know they're en route!

Liz (kndyglr) needs some Pixie Dust her way. She's fine, just a family medical issue which I'll let her go into if she chooses to...please keep her and her family in your thoughts! :wizard:

Thanks for the pixie dust and hugs. Just to let you know what is going on...My Mom had to have triple bypass surgery on Wednesday-she went in on Monday to have a stent put in, but it wouldn't go, so they scheduled the surgery. The good news is that the surgery went well and she is out of ICU and doing very good.

Thanks again!

Liz

Liz I am glad to hear that your mom is doing well! I'll keep the pixie dust coming! :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Liz - Pixie Dust :wizard: :wizard: and prayers for your mom!

Lisa - Glad to hear your docs are almost there, but that must be really frustrating!

David - Just send an email to Frank directly and tell him you woulld like to join our group (the Tarrant and Bolusi families). As you know we are both doing Randi's before so I guess you would have to make arrangements with him as to where to pick you guys up. Cliff divers, now that sounds cool.

Lynn - Any thoughts on what you guys might like to see on Frank's tour?
Debi

BW to Liz......check in w/albil (Bill), he has a alittle experience in this area and may be able to give some feedback...glad to hear things are going well! :grouphug:

Congrats to Lisa!!......we're on our way! :teeth:

Ok,....I have went DCL with our excursions.......I am making our final decisions for port days.............here is what I've come up with...... :listen:

PV-Canopy Tour
M-Deer Island Kayak Adventure
C-Los Arcos Sea Kayak & Snorkel

Anyone joining us for any of these? I am nervous about the canopy tour due to my fear of heights but I've heard it's not to be missed....so I'm going for it! The DDs are psyched for this one! :lovestruc

I've also heard that the snorkeling is dicey due to the cold water and jellies but I'm hoping that by August we will be ok..... :cold:

The other info, I've learned is that in Maz, it's probably the worst for being pestered by hawkers, etc. so I'm hoping that taking a catamaran to Deer Island will eliminate some of that. :confused3

Hello
I'm home again exhausted but with all the children in one piece and saying they've had a great time so all is well. Only the play and leavers service to go!!

Lisa
Don't hate me but it seems across the pond is faster than across the country, my husband called me on Monday to say the precious package had arrived and I've just read everything... the excitement is building here. This time next week school will be out and we'll be travelling to the airport.

Debi and David
Cigars and tequilla sound good I also fancy the cathedral, market and divers, but honestly whatever Frank can show us would be good . I would just like to see some of the port as well as having fun in the morning on Randi's horses.
All the talk of anniversaries, it will be our 14th in Mazatlan, it will be great to share the day with you and then we have Palo in the evening.
David you are right we're booked on an ATV tour in Cabo and then Wild Dolphins and the canopy in PV. We're also booked on Los Veranos but later in the day because I wanted to fit in the Dolphins too

Joann
Happy Anniversary!!

Liz
I hope your mum continues to make good progress

Everyone
I do feel smug with all of you thinking about back to school and me just at the start of my vacation :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

A bit more
Wendy
So sorry to hear about the fire, did much of your work get spoilt, I hope you maybe have masters on the PC or is it actual resources that you've made?

Jenny
tell your husband I'm looking forward to getting merry with you all

Okay Lynn, I won't hate you, but that is funny...they made their way to you before they made their way to us. Such is life!

Hot here today. Yesterday it was 108 YUCK!!! I live inland so don't worry it will be like that in Mexico. Today it was cooler in the morning but it has begun to heat up. Lucky us! :sunny:

Originally I had our whole family booked for Randi's but DS3 basically indicated he didn't want to "sit" on a horse and since he's barely potty trained we were thinking of cancelling. Well, DS7 has been taking horseback riding lessons for 2 weeks and DH suggest I go with him while he and DS3 hang out on the ship. Sooooo, I know Lynn is doing Randi's...who else? Kathy? I can't remember!

Not thinking of BTS here yet! My DDs and I don't go back until late August!! :cool1:

Welcome home.....we really missed you!
You may feel "smug" - we deserve it.

Lisa - I totally think that is TOO funny that the docs made it across
the pond and can't make it to the west coast.

We are all starting to sound like Brits, aren't we.
Here's to a very merry cruise.

Truly, Lynn, I LOVE the British accent. When I speak to the Brits at
Colchester (our exchange university) - I keep them on the phone line
as long as possible.

Lucy
At the moment you might not be hearing too much accent, as I have no voice!!!
Hooary says Keith.... Where's my voice....too much singing and shouting at the campfires last week!

I'm with Lucy, luv the British accent - when we were on our last vacation in DW, we met some British people. They kept telling each other to "shut your bloody blowhole" and "pipe down". We were hysterical :rotfl2: :rotfl2: and we were all saying it to each other in a British accent by mid-week. We had such a good time being "neighbors" in the hotel with them. Lynn, hope you guys won't be offended if i try to speak in my best British accent. ;)

Lisa - DH and I think it is quite humorous that the people who live closest to the port are the last to receive their docs. Also, we are doing Randi's in the morning with Lynn and Keith.

JoAnn - Any thoughts about changing your DCL Canopy Tour to the Los Veranos Canopy tour. We made the switch, the price is a little cheaper (although we do have to take a cab to get there - so it will probably be about the same price) and from what I have read, their zip lines are longer and higher (not that that's probably good for you - LOL - but the DDs might enjoy it) and supposedly there's no 20 minute walk uphill when you are done. I am booked with the girls and I believe Wendy and her family are doing it too.

Debi-awesome! Do you know, can we wear shorts or are long pants recommended? I'm sure by then it will be very hot in Mexico  . My DS7 is very excited to "show me his stuff". Too cute. He'll probably leave me in the dust.....

Thx Debi for the suggestion. I been reading about the Los Veranos excursion, as you said I'm alittle skittish about heights to begin with. The feedback is that both experiences are good and I like to use the DCL program so I don't have to worry about getting back and forth. I'll think about it and look into it alittle more. :confused3

We're also signed up to ride with Randi in the morning. I hope we're not making a mistake. El Cid sounds pretty good to me right now. I'm afraid it will be so hot when we ride that we'll want to swim when we get to Victor's but there will be too many jellyfish in the water. My kids are 6 and 4 so I (like Lisa) am unsure how my 4 year old will do. I think I might cancel for myself and Amy and she and I will go to El Cid. Ted and Owen can do the ride and meet us there when they finish.
