Mark is heading out tomorrow to Cincy. The Bengals have a Thursday night game. Some stupid idea the NFL had, so make sure you have your players moved around!! I will stay home and hold the fort down tomorrow night. John plays at 6 and Mallory at 7:15, but at least the are right across the street. Yesterday they were across the county (about 25 miles) apart at the same time! We split according to work locale, so I got the girls' game and Mark the boys'. :furious:

The kids and I are "skipping out" and heading over then at noon on Friday. The Reds have their Redsfest which takes up the whole convention center. They have all kinds of things for the kids to do and players are available for autographs and photos. My favorite player is Bronson Arroyo. He is also an accomplished musician. He plays accoustic and sings. He will be doing a concert as well. It should be a great time! popcorn::

Sometime I need to find the energy to put up the Christmas tree and do a little decorating. Notice I said a LITTLE!!

I'm back!!! :thumbsup2 There was a computer in the lobby! We had a long delay on our way out, there was some flight cancellations across the country and it affected everything!! Jess plays at 11:20am!!

Have fun, Jenny, sounds like fun!

Where is everyone??? I need to hear news, people!!! :Pinkbounc :hourglass :yay: :dance3: :rolleyes1 :bounce: :wave2: :surfweb:

when Lucy chats with herself, again? :confused3 :confused3

Jenny and JoAnn away for the weekend. :cool1:

We had a setback in the family - my "mum" (I love that word, Lynn, sorry) had a setback after her short time at home. I brought her home from the rehab hospital on Wednesday afternoon, she was doing very well, happy, and you would too after spending 29 days in a hospital. Well, i decided i must sleep there the first night to see that everything goes ok. It didn't. Around 12 midnight she started a terrible cough and it continued and she started getting sick and very weak. I called the ambulance at 4:00 AM, no sleep for Lucy or her mum that night. Turns out she has pneumonia...don't even ask why they didn't discover that in the hospital.... :furious: :furious: She spent almost 24 hours in emergency, due to lack of beds in the hospital, finally moved to a room yesterday morning. I haven't been in to see her since she is in a room, we had a HORRIBLE storm yesterday and last night and i didn't want to drive to hospital, she was ok with it, in fact, she actually told me not to come......that is where Lucy has been. :faint:

I'm hoping people are not upset with the Williams for cancelling the Med, because they are not 'speaking' on this board. It was a tough choice, guys :sad1: :sad1: ....we had to choose between heat vs. a 10 day cruise.
We have just committed to a Disney trip with our high school the end of March, beginning of April....All Star Movies (don't even go there!)....and then it will be a long vacation this summer again....I want to try and go when you guys are in the Med, so it won't 'hurt' so much   ....again, I want to stay at the Boardwalk, i really fell in love with that place. We MAY still do a 4-day Wonder...we'll see. pixiedust: pixiedust:
Don't feel sorry for us, I'm SO HAPPY for everyone else who is going, believe me, many people can NEVER afford a vacation, and we'll still have one, but not with you guys, but we'll still see many of you this winter and summer, right? :dance3: :dance3:
Bob is working his nasty schedule this weekend, Friday night from 1-10, today from 5:30-3:00....retail! :furious: :furious:

I'm still here Lucy
Sorry to hear about your Mum,
We will miss you in Barcelona, maybe we can all meet up again in 2008.
Has anyone heard from Kathy at all?

Bummer Lucy, sorry to hear about "mum" I hope she's okay.

We are still here in Raleigh, playing soccer!! Hope all are well, talk to you soon!

I'm back home now since John had to go to his dad's to celebrate his birthday there. He had a great birthday. Mark had spent the day in Cincy Friday since he was there for the game Thursday night. He took it upon himself to do the birthday shopping. He bought John a cool Bengals coat that has a zip out fleece lining that doubles as a fleece vest! I was amazed because when I went to sign the card there was a sweet message he had written about how proud he was of him!! Talking about relief. Shopping is not cool right now with all the hustle of games AND Christmas shopping!

We took John to the Montgomery Inn (jealous Bob and Lucy?? :rolleyes1 ) for dinner. When they started to bring over the cake, the bus boy had gone to another table and recruited Marty Brennaman the "voice of the Reds" on radio to sing Happy Birthday to John!!!! (We're talking a guy who is in the baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown guys!!!!). John was so flattered. He ended up taking a piece of his cake to Marty. Marty looks at him with a big smile and says, "You're the man, John"!! THat kid was walking on cloud nine all night after that!!! :cloud9: His gifts were nothing compared to that priceless memory!!!

Tomorrow is Marshall's first piano recital. He is excited, yet nervous!

Lucy ~ So sorry to hear about your mom....hope she is well soon!

JoAnn ~ Hope Jess is doing well in her tournament!!

Lynn ~ My Mark and Mark A. had cocktails Thursday night, but I didn't get to see him. Were you able to help him any with his recruitment in GB? I didn't think to ask my Mark if he mentioned it...

Debi ~ You are being awful quiet....hey the JETS are in the hunt my home football experts tell me!! :bounce: :bounce: WE, on the other hand, stink! :lmao:

GUYS....KATHY'S BEEN GONE A LONG TIME!!!!!!!!!!!! :confused3

WARNING FF MEMBERS..............The Coach of the B-town Bombers is back online officially yesterday.........look out! He's fired up!!! pirate:

Hey all! :wave2:

We have returned from Raleigh, NC.....we saw the "Final Four" and Championships of the D-1 Women's Soccer ............so exciting...........UNC WON again..........Mia Hamm and Julie Foudy were at the games..........we did a college visit of UNC(Chapel Hill) and obtained some t-shirts, etc...........so fun! Jess was in another college showcase down there, she definitely had some "bites" and we also learned a lot as parents..........very cool w/e! :cool1:

Best wishes to Lucy and Mom............. :wizard:

Miss you Debs.......what up??? :confused3

Hey Lynn, I'm hoping we'll have company next summer??? :woohoo: :moped:  :hourglass :dance3:

I had a personal day on Friday.............so back to the old grind on Monday! :teacher:

Hope you all had a nice w/e..........see you soon!!!!!!!!!!!! :grouphug:

Hey Joann
Good NFL win well done!!!!
Now if you could just beat Debs next week and I beat Ted there's a chance of a Brit in the play offs. It's all getting very exciting. Those Fishers really know their stuff I see both John and Jenny will be in the playoffs and that was with no computer access, actually I might have done better if I hadn't kept changing each week too :rotfl2:

Where is everyone else?
Lucy how's mum?
Kathy if you're still reading our thread tell Ted Game on
Bill you're still the main man I know you were just playing nice with the kids and let them win...... oh wait you beat John didn't you!
Jenny I did reply to Matthew but it wasn't very long or informative it's been mad at work but I will send him a more detailed reply at the weekend promise

There's no stopping Lynn now.... :thumbsup2 She's got the feel of the sport ...Actually Lynn i had no idea how the FF worked till about week 3.. :confused3 ..I would have done better but I left a couple weeks get by.... :woohoo:

My guestion is ...who is Dominic Bulushi... ??:wave2: I think it's Mico... :cool1: in which I'll bet him a $5.00 cigar that I will beat him this week...since I'm on a roll...
I never did find out who Morgan is (Goofy)

Your right about them Fishers Lynn.... :thumbsup2 they do their homework each week.. :yay:

I just made my first free agent claim this week because I have so many injured guys! I have been very lucky!!! I don't "study" this stuff, just go with the gut or I "like the guy"! John, on the otherhand, is a junky....

So, when does everyone "check out" for their Winter Break? I have kids until the 21st and I will work the 22nd. :teacher:

My tree is still sitting in the living room in plastic tubs! I HATE putting trees together! :sad2: The kids want lights outside. I told them to learnhow to put them up, and then they can do it themselves!!! :rotfl2:

It is a week full of basketball and "other stuff". Heading to Cincy after John's tournament Sat. We have the Oakland Raiders coming to town... Last home game until New Year's Eve. Good......I HATE COLD WEATHER!!!! :smokin:

Thx Lynn, but I have no idea how I did it!!!! Let's hope my manager comes thru for me!!

We have barely started to decorate around here!! Just some outdoor lawn ornaments. My last day is the 22nd but the girls return the w/e of 12/5....some interesting developments down south with DD22.......I'll keep you all posted.........

I have to get back on the Xmas train, lost some ground while visiting Raleigh.....such a great trip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :moped:

Looking forward to our January Broadway trip..........anyone else in?? (Hope things are well w/Mom, Lucee) :grouphug:

actually Bill what's really sad is that i've got this fantasy stuff sorted but have no idea what a real football game is all about, I still have no idea what my guys are doing each week to get me points I just know they keep doing it bless them!!!

Sorry i haven't been around - things just haven't been good here....
my 'mum' was NOT good, meaning, bob and I were really scared this past weekend, thinking, well, I don't wanna say it, but it wasn't good. :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

Today it is one week since she was home from the rehab hospital, and back IN the hospital, with this horrible pneumonia. Today, for the first time, she was out of bed...it is a start, again.
It has been 36 days since I've been visiting the hospital, daily. Holiday? what holiday? :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

I wanna know about the developments down south - I need scoopy-doop, oh, Joannie, you better e-mail the scoop, remember, 'grandpa' is reading this! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I can't WAIT to get away in January. :Pinkbounc :cheer2:

Football, schmooootball, i don't know what the heck you people are chatting about, but i find it funny anyway. Any distraction is good right now, even from crazy people! :rotfl2: :cool1: :rotfl:

When do 'we' check out? I've been checked out lately, but Tyler isn't done with school until Friday, December 22. I will start my vacation on Tuesday, Dec. 19th already - anyone need Christmas cookies? My family only enjoys one kind - I LOVE to make different kinds of cookies, but noone to make them for....hint!hint!hint! Although, for Lynn, I think I would need to get a box of
Nilla Wafers, right Lynn? :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Cookies for Santa??? :thumbsup2 Yeah, like I make cookies for ANYONE!! BTW, I did make a Red Velvet Cake the other day for a party at school. I shocked them all!!! :rotfl2: However, M&M are currently in "sugar detox" and boy does it make a difference!!!! :woohoo:

Mallory fouled out of her basketball game tonight. I told her to not reach around, but she kept doing it. I was scoring the game, so when she came off the floor, I said "You can only get five fouls, then you can't play anymore!" She looked at me so serious and said, "Well, no one told me that!" We were all cracking up! :lmao:

Get those FF line ups adjusted, remember there are Thursday games now!!! :hourglass

Hey all, grandpop called already and he was laughing his butt off............so much for that...............my DD22 threw her roommate out last week, the roommate's dad called Monday night............Ken said, we'll do whatever we have to, to her leave............very awkward!!!!!!!!!!!!!!So....................guess what....................or who.................TARA WANTS TO LIVE WITH????( think FF manager.......)

And you think YOU have problems..........give me a BB game right now...............JKJKJKJKJK, Jess will take her driver's test on Friday! Tracy is suffering from migraines at school.....you know, due to the stress of finals...... :confused3 (but I couldn't reach her all night b/c she was at the movies :listen: )

Hang in there Lucy and family, you are all in our prayers!!!! :grouphug:

Where is Debster?? :moped: :artist:

Hey, Lynn, what are you doing to prepare for the holidays???(what's your last day?).....open invitation to see a REAL football 'across the pond' sometime! :cloud9:

Thx for listening!! :dance3:

I just finally got a chance to catch up on 4 pages of posts, I am sorry I have been MIA for so long. Just been busy trying to get the house decorated, Christmas shopping done, Alex's room painted downstairs. Finally ordered my Christmas cards last night and I pick them up tomorrow, so I can work on them over the w/e. We are going for our tree on Sunday. I have a few more gifts to get and then I will be done.

Lucy - I am sorry about mom, but hopefully she will come about again. Be strong and keep your chin up, I know how tough it can be. If there is anything you need, please call me.

Jenny - Yeah, the Jets are doing well, but I don't get my hopes up for anything with them. We will see how the rest of the season goes.

JoAnn - Sounds like Jess has been a busy girl, hopefully she will get some offers for where she wants to go. My godchild who lives in Ohio just got a 60% scholarship to Ball State in Indiana for soccer. Hey Jenny , how far is that from you?

As for the Med, I still don't know what we are doing. I had got a great price on airfare and booked it, but let it go. And right now it is not looking good for us going, so I have come to the realization that it is not in the cards for us right now. Oh well :sad2:

Debi

Debi ~ Ball State is a great school. It is about 45 min+ north east of Indianapolis in Muncie. THat puts it about 2 hours from here. A lot of our students go there. THeir forte is education and architecture. I am sure they will be pleased with it there. (Trivia: It's name came from the Ball glass canning jars. The Ball Co. used to be there during the natural gas boom!!! Sorry, I am one of those worthless trivia people!!!! :lmao: )

Almost Friday!

Debs! :cool1:  :cheer2:

NOW, all we need to do is 'find' Kathy, Briana, and Alex......MIA :confused3 .....we MISS them

Debs, I know how much you love this holiday...isn't it sad how many of us (yes, the Williams Family) don't have time to appreciate the holiday. I think we would, if Bob wouldn't work in retail. :furious:

I'm so glad too that Tara will have a roommate :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Tomorrow is my mother's 65th birthday. Yes, she was born the day after Pearl Harbor. We are planning to take her to Cheeseburger in Paradise since she hasn't been there before. I LOVE that place!!! :dance3: :dance3:
