Hey! July 30th, 2005 cruise to Mexico DISfriends!

Hi All!!!

Reporting in, live from a bar stool at the Luna Park pool!! Actually, I am just sitting here so I have an electrical plug! Still on coffee!

Debi, Bob, and I went Thursday night to Mexico during Extra Magic Evening for a margarita to discover it was CLOSED!! Not funny............... So, on our way back to ESPN we did find a tap outside of Norway which temporarily became our favorite country!!!!

Friday everyone arrived by 3:00 with Kathy arriving to meet us at MGM. We hit the bar at the backlot and experienced the "Stoplight Margarita" that Debi discovered last April. I agree, it was the best on property even topping the Fiesta Margarita in Mexico. Dinner at Cape May was great! We all received a nice surprise on Friday night as well, but I'll leave somone else to share the excitement!!

Sat. we gathered at MGM for the parade to see our own favorite MICKEY!! Talking about a bunch of blubbering women! Lucy will have to share her experience with the local MGM police!!! Then, off to dinner at Canada, not to be disappointed!

Most are at AK right now, but will arrive back soon sweltering, I am sure. This afternoon we will head to MK to see our own favorite MINNIE for a private meeting!!!

Bill...........Lucy and I were SURE you were going to surprise us and show up. Talking about a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!! What's a party without the DisDaddy and DisMommy!!!!

Lynn.........Hope you are recovered from school and let us know how your visit with the US friends is going!!! We miss you and Keith too!!!!

O.k. Your daughter and son-in-law are on their way as well as Kathy. Debi will be out of here this evening leaving Lucy and I to "hold down the fort"!!

What a MAGICAL time! We have laughed a lot and we have had a fantastic time! My kids have loved having all the adult attention. On the flip side, they have "sucked the life out of these poor people"!!!

Although it's not fun to say (I'll be there soon!), but

WELCOME HOME KATHY, JOANN, KEN, DEBI, AND GIRLS! (I think #1 son is disappointed about this departure too!!!

I will check in a day or two (If I can keep Lucy out of the bars!!!!) Good thing the local MGM police weren't around again last night!!!

How sad, I'm back! WE HAD SUCH A BLAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kathy taught me more about WDW in 3 days then I've learned my whole life, I will be practicing all those trix on my next visit! Oh yea, and the SEGWAY TOUR RACE!!! And the pretzel bread incident in Le Cellier!!

Lucy made me laugh until I cried especially on our last night together!(Ken wants to jog with you in Times Square in October!)

Debi & family hosted many late night balcony chats which were SO MUCH FUN thx to her room location (Thx Micco)

Jenny enriched our trip by bringing her "gang" who whispered all the secrets to the rides right before they happened! (Thx again John for the remark about my age)

Bob thanks to your patience during the Segway tour

Micco, thx for NOT head butting me during the Segway tour.............and NO we will NEVER FORGET OUR TOUR GUIDE PSYCHO, Jeff!

Special thx to a Special Person who enriched our trip by working while we were having fun!!!

To all the kiddies............YOU WERE A BLAST!! (Thx for going on the rides with us!)

BTW, DIS Pappy, just b/c we were on a balcony, watching fireworks, altogether.......DOES NOT MEAN WE WERE "UNDER THE TABLE" AS THEY SAY!
Don't forget, Lucy was in the building monitoring all of us and commenting on our levels of intox.......................SHEESH!!

We missed you Lynn, Keith, DisPappy & DisMommy..........don't worry, we will reunite in NYC in October!!!!! (and next year on our Med cruise!)

I'm back too and it's freakin' hot here! Who'd a thunk that Florida would be cooler than Virginia! It's going to go on all week too. They're predicting a heat index of 115 on Wednesday. 12 more days and I'll be in California!

I had such a blast down there with you guys! I'm already looking forward to seeing Lucy and Bob and Debi and Micco in October. Jenny and JoAnn, I wish you guys could join us too.

I've got to figure out dinner now. I'll post more later this evening.

Where is everybody? I'll drag us off of page 2. It's so hot here. I'm staying inside today. The kids seem to be enjoying a relaxing day. It's too hot to go to the pool...maybe tonight.

I wonder what Jenny and Lucy are doing on their last full day at BWV.

Hey, it's me Debi. Logged in as Captain Nemo and can't logout for some reason, been trying all day, anyway, I'll let him have the addition to his posts. We got in safe and sound last night, flight got in about 11:30 and we got home close to 1. The rainstorm that started last night did not make us feel all warm and fuzzy inside, but it stopped and we were pretty close to schedule.

We had such a blast this weekend, got to know things about some people that I never knew. Ken, what an instigator, just like MIcco...who knew?

And it looks like the Williams family will be joining us on the Med cruise...Lucy - is that true...

Well just wanted to post and let everyone know we are ok...will send pictures tomorrow. I just showed Briana how to get into our thread, who know maybe she will post too...

Another miserably hot day. I took the kids to the pool for a couple of hours as soon as it opened today but the water is so warm it's not refreshing at all. I've got a sinus cold too. I slept all afternoon. The kids keep coming into my room to check on me. Hopefully their rooms are still neat as they've been on their own.

We're back!and Mallory and I cried all the way to the airport!!!

Actually we are in Cincinnati for the Reds/Dodgers and Reds/Braves games until Sunday.

I had such a blast with you guys. I wish I could have done the balcony, but the kids were SUCKING THE LIFE OUT OF ME!!

My highlights..........Mickey, Minnie, Psycho Jeff, Pretzel Bread fiasco, Bob's having a "Magical Day", Ken dumping Marshall's water overboard (my kind of guy), and of course ALL OF YOU!!! Thanks to all of you for your patience with the M&Ms. They are full of life, love and a mouth to boot!! You made them feel special even when they were little sh&%s!!!!! Now, for my son's disappearance one evening, well, we'll leave that for later!! Thanks also to Bri and Kourt for babysitting him!

Saw Alex last night and got to say our goodbyes. The kids were very puzzled as to when we might see her again, but we'll work on that one.

Mark tried to book us in Oct., but no DVC rooms ANYWHERE. We'll waitlist and see how the Reds do and maybe have to stay in Tampa.

We'll check in later!! Glad everyone is home safe. Williams' are in the air as we speak. I wonder though where Lucy's luggage is traveling to today!!!!

Welcome back, Jenny, sorry it's over but I think you guys had a blast...........WE LOVED HANGING WITH YOU ALL ESPECIALLY THE "KIDS" THEY WERE SO MUCH FUN!!! Don't worry, they grow up AND YOU MISS THIS STAGE!!!

Have fun at the "GAMES" and try to squeeze in an East Coast trip at the beach, I'm sure Lucy & Bob are coming and who knows who else!! The "rents" said they would accomodate anyone who needs a room (they have 3 beds as well, I have several as well!!) Perhaps, before or even after school starts, it will make the pain less severe!!

We lose! It is 9:50 and currently it is 82 degrees. The heat index makes it 87 degrees! I think it was ONLY 92 here today!!! I left the game early. I was hot and about to fall asleep. They game wasn't THAT boring, I am just drained. I always leave WDW and go into a depression for a day or two!

Briana.........thanks for jumping in. Keep with us. We love to hear what's going on in the "teen world". We need help sometimes with keeping the board alive! Lucy, JoAnn, and Kathy are the "rocks"! John had a great time with you guys. He was telling our friends all about his trip and hanging out with you guys and Tyler.

Lucy and family got to Philly and SO DID THE LUGGAGE!!!All at the same time!!! Lord knows we wouldn't want her to lose her make up!! I have to admit, I fumbled a lot with packing but she had everything I needed....everyone needs that!

Guess who's back

I can't believe it - suitcases arrived WITH US! First time in the last two travels....it was GREAT. Flight was awesome (OMG - I've having trouble typing...better get back in practice...you know I'll be on the boards for the next couple of YEARS )...left on time, flight was nice and smooth, arrived in Philadelphia on time, car service was waiting to take us to our parking lot...and we had MCDONALD'S around 9:00 - tasted SO GOOD. Now the OLDEST brat is hurrying to get out of here to spend time with his friends...whatever...enough about that.

NEVER, BUT NEVER , have Bob and I had such a great time, than we did this past week/s. We talked about all the fun times all the way home, the "have a @$&# magical day", the breadstick, the girl's night in Deb's room, the naughty boys on the Segway tour, our night at LeCellier and Cape May, and our wonderful surprise, Micco! AND, of course, our Mickey and Minnie REALLY made our vacation special.....I can still start blubbering with tears when I think of Alex. THANKS ALEX, FOR EVERYTHING (and you KNOW what I mean by THAT!)....

NOW, Ms. Briana, THANKS for checking in....we had a great time with you and Kourtney...hope your girlfriend didn't think we were TOO WEIRD - have a fun time Friday night at her birthday party.

HEAT?!!!! When I walked out of the Philly airport, I couldn't believe how hot it was...and stuffy....we had our windows down for the 2 hour trip home because we were having a problem with the coolant in the car...MAN, I'm so glad to be home in the air conditioning - you know, I LOVE being at Disney so much, the heat does not bother me.

OH, get this....DISdaddy....Tyler just asked if I was talking to Bill.....then he said, who the heck is Bill....feeling guilty NOW?!

with Bryan - we want him OUT! He is going with friends tonight and we can't wait for him to leave tonight...sorry, already I'm complaining, but we just spent 2 weeks with him and we are DONE! We paid our dues

Jenny - Tyler had SO much fun too - first time he has ever had such independence at Disney and he absolutely LOVED it! He also didn't mind
looking at Deb's daughters and friend.....kindof perked up the young kid....
they are beautiful. He also enjoyed M&M...he does like little kids.

Oh, Deb, gotta tell 'ya - gave him and me ONE Tylenol PM an hour before the flight - we were BOTH very calm and sleepy on the flight. Worked great - I better try another one tonight...it is 10:10 and I just had a diet coke, and if I want to get to sleep......I'm NOT unpacking tonight DO YOU HEAR ME!

JoAnn - I loved walking into my house - I totally cleaned before we left and NOW I'm happy I did....tell Ken I'm ready for Times Square - maybe we could run by the naked cowboy a couple of times!

Kathy - thanks for coming solo - wasn't it alot of fun?!

Sorry Jenny, I know about the WDW depression!! Since you were there longer it was more of an adjustment. I couldn't believe how much I loved our room at BW. It was so refreshing when we returned each night!!

The guestion came up who is Bill....?? well let me say this..... I don't think I met all these young people that come with the Williams ,and Jenny's gang, Alex and Bri I remember... ( I never forget a pretty face) I was around Kathy's children on differant occasions, but the others seemed to slip by... In conclusion, if they had truely met me they won't forget the "Thong" guy. I still can't believe you guys thought I had one...a thong that is It would have to be enough rope to tie up a battleship Ho ha......... stay cool
