Ditto for me! Can't leave town w/o a clean house. Of course, you realize with our life my house has to be clean ALL THE TIME!!! I especially am emphatic about beds. Like, if I die while on a trip, I am going to worry that someone will see that I didn't make the bed! I guess it's like your mother making sure you have underwear w/o holes in case you are in an accident!

Not a bad day with our sale. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. The rain held me up, but once I gave in and put out the signs WOW!! They were like flies on SH&%!! M&M sold a few drinks. Maybe tomorrow it will be better too because it's suppose to be hot! In the meantime, Mark had a good time taking the folks out to b'fast and visiting his g'ma and g'pa. He is now sitting in "The Jake" watching the Reds and Indians. He met up with two college buddies (frat bros. ~ he does NOT remind me of a frat rat!) and are probably having a blast. I talked with him a few hours ago and he was already having a great time!

I am sure Ken and JoAnn are having a great time already on board RCCL. I'd go on RCCL just to go on a cruise!

Did anyone get the cute postcard from DCL this week with Lilo and Stitch on the beach and the ship in the back? It was one of those cards that has the changing picture (hologram??). John looks at it and says, "Mom, they are KILLING ME"!! Not bad that a 12 year old loves DCL too!!! Smart kid!

Speaking of, poor kid has been sick since around 10 last night. o.k. Lucy, I will tell them before you jump on it......yes, I made spaghetti last night. I don't cook and look what happens when I do!!!! (he has a fever too).

Why don't the Williams Family EVER get postcards....about every two years we take my sister-in-law along to Disney, and SHE gets the postcards. When we first introduced the Becks to the cruise, THEY got the postcards.

I have a friend on the Wonder right now, and what was the first thing i thought about this morning - oh, my, they have a day at sea today.....
next year has GOT to be a cruise, somewhere, somehow.....when I was single, i went on cruises EVERY year...that is how much i loved them. And then I met Bob and WE went on a cruise every year, NOW there are FOUR of us....and it is more difficult because the KIDS LOVE CRUISING TOO

I wish JoAnn and Family a fun time - i'm watching the weather for them - tropical storm developing...YES, YES, I'm a weather geek!

Nasty in PA today....how about you Kathy? rain, rain, rain. Glad it is on a weekend we have no plans. Next weekend would be a disaster - our neighbors are having a HUGE bash for their son's graduation and we have our
Kutztown German Festival all week - so let it rain this weekend.
I'm sure Bryan won't get many hours at the country club this weekend with the rain...he works at the snack bar...not too many crazy people will be playing in pouring rain, well, maybe they will

Hey all! We are sailing right now, it is sunny but we are rocking. The kids have me on a weight loss, workout regime so I'm sore. I'll make up for it in a few days!!


I like this cruise but I miss DCL and all of you. We had so much fun last year! I can't wait for the Med! We are not going on the private island this week for RCCL, Lucy. And NO, I didn't clean my house good enough. However, WE have a trip coming up in a month and my house WILL BE SPOTLESS FOR THAT TRIP!

Today is the day that Kathy and I had originally signed up to do the double scoop cruise! I'm thinking of the double scoopers today!

So the food is really good, the service is excellent, but I miss the entertainment of DCL......and the magic...................

Hope all are well especially, John? Bri? Kathy & clan??

JoAnn ~ Hope you all are having a great time! It's good to hear from others about the other lines. We might have to try one someday!

Also, thanks for asking about John.....he ran a fever up to late last night. Must have broken in the night because he got up around 10 (that's early!!) pretty chipper and downed three doughnuts and a glass of milk!! He NEVER gets sick and this is one of the rare times he has gotten "that sick"! I haven't cooked again either! Great excuse!

We did well on the sale. I got rid of a couch, microwave, Little Tykes playset and two Power Wheels. The rest was small "stuff". The kids each made some souvie money and so did Mommy!! Mark told me to tuck it away in my "Aunt Bee's Egg Money"! I always try to have some like that.

So, how was Lucy's day??? Get anything accomplished??

I got to cutting limbs and brush tonight and before I knew it, I had cleaned up our whole tree line! It was really grown over because of vines and storm damage. I cannot believe I did it, but it looks great! Sometimes I amaze myself!!! It's nice that I can actually see into the woods again!

Where's Kathy??? Let us in on how things are going!

Hope all is well with Debi. I'm still putting in a good word for Bri with the "Big Guy" each night!!! We all have to stick together....testing Dumb...............

JoAnn, I was just thinking about the double scoop too! I'm glad to hear that you're having a good time and are having good weather. It rained here Friday evening and all day yesterday. We may get thunderstorms this afternoon. I cooked all day yesterday. I like a rainy day every once in a while. Although, I've had to reschedule the kids' beach pictures 4 times now because of rain. The photographer likes to shoot at 4:30pm and there have been thunderstorms. Our next scheduled attempt will be this Tuesday afternoon. We've got to get this done soon as Owen has a loose front tooth. I keep telling him not to wiggle it until after the pictures are done. I've got to take the kids to a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese this morning. I'd rather have a root canal!

Another rainy (pouring) day in PA...absolutely miserable. Bob might as
well be working....our neighbor gets married today (we are NOT close),
it was planned to be outdoors....feel so sorry for her, even though she
was never a friendly girl, I don't wish rain on anyone's wedding day.
Flood watches everywhere around here. If Bob had off today we'd go
and see Cars, must see before we get to WDW - if you have walked into
a Disney Store lately, it is all about Cars...so I want to know what I'm looking at down in WDW. We MIGHT try tonight after he gets home from work, but he also leaves for Massachusetts (business) tomorrow morning for 4 days.
By the time he gets home, JoAnn should be home with all her news on
RCCL.

JoAnn: do they still have the Ship Shape Program, where you earn Ship Shape dollars? I know when we sailed RCCL it was a fun reason to exercise - nice prizes at the end of the cruise, but remember we were stiff too.
Have you been up in the Viking Crown Lounge - I LOVE that lounge.
I loved the Windjammer too. We were on RCCL a long time ago when they didn't have many ships, and whenever you would sail with them, there was a celebrity performing on board - saw Ben Vereen, Capt. & Tennille (tell me, people, you don't remember them!)..and others.
Bob asked, how do the girls enjoy this cruise compared to Disney?

Went to WallyWorld...don't wanna admit what i spent, but it takes alot
of beauty products for this face.....stocking up for July.....thank goodness
i still have a few more weeks to add to my stock!

Going to see Cars tonight...we feel obligated, since we're going to Disney
in a few weeks, everything will be about Cars 'down there'.

Good weekend....very productive. They kids were so GOOD! I wonder how long this will last???

Thank goodness the closest Chuck E. Cheese is an hour away!! I'm with you on that one Kathy!!!!

I am watching "Animal Kingdom" on the Travel Channel. Obviously an old one because they show at length the training involved in rollerblading in the Tarzan show! It's still good though! It gets me so excited for our trip!! 28 days from today!!!

10:02: just came home from seeing Cars - it was GREAT....really enjoyed it - Jenny - tell the kids my favorite character was Mater! But on a sad note:
my baby (Tyler) is NOW choosing other movies and not Disney movies - he went to see the DaVinci Code....Bob and I will never give up Disney movies,
no matter how old we get!

John has already given up Disney movies. I asked him to go with me to see Cars and he declined with thie "You've got to be kidding" look. M&M will go again I guess. I don't see Mark and I making it right now. We have so much going before we go to WDW!!

O.k. Lucy, we know how "slow" you can be, but what was Mater's "full name"? I think there's a pun there too, if I remember my conversation with the kids and Mom when they saw it. You and Mark are way too much work sometimes!!

I like Disney moveis because of the subtile humor and simplicity. I hate complicated movies!

Hey all, I have some really bad news................we had a delay leaving KW so.....we now won't be leaving Cozumel until 11pm!!! DisDaddy will remember why that is a problem from a few years ago.....can anyone say....Carlos & Charlies???????

NO, we don't have a great entertainer like BV or C&T....however, the entertainment has been pretty good...not as happy with the entertainment staff, they are really funny and cute but I'm not as excited to go to the posted events and sometimes they don't do what is posted which is weird.

The excursions are pretty good so far but no stickers or guides leading you out of the ship, it's very confusing and frustrating at times! I miss my MM stickers!!! Love the Viking Crown lounge, DisDaddy would droll for that one. There's an art auction everyday??? Didn't really plan to buy any on my cruise??????

They had a country night last night, which I have always wished DCL would add but we had only one fun line dance, one funny hat skit and then ALOT OF BORING COUNTRY MUSIC,,,, yuck!!! Also, I was salsa dancing today which was really fun (DCL are you listening??...great idea, dance classes!!)

Kathy, I heard it rained all day at KW yesterday so I'm not sure how the weather was in CC, we did okay at Freeport, it was raining at noon, but we didn't arrive until 2pm and we did well, it was sunny and beautiful!

I'll have to see Cars when we return and I also want to see The Devil Wears Prada! That's another thing, no movies on this ship!

The girls like this cruise, it does seem to have better programing but they so far have not met the kids they usually meet on DCL, which is weird.

So, Debi, we need an update, I guess tomorrow is the day to hear about BRi??

Planned on cleaning up my ironing room today until the shelf in the closet collapsed! I had to reinstall it! Good thing I know how to do all that stuff!! I got a few things done despite that until my mother showed up. We ended up on the covered porch, in the swing, watching it rain while drinking margaritas!!!

Already had an adventure here at work, at 7:45....a HUGE old tree
fell across the street (major road thru the campus), due to all the rain
we've been having, and are still having. Need to detour traffic, except for
all the tractor trailor trucks....they are just stopped until it is removed.
If I didn't know better (I AM the weather GEEK)...I'd swear we are
having hurricane rains....pouring rain, thunder, the humidity is awful.
Not expected to stop until the weekend.

I'm here. The weather here has also been rainy and dreary for days...it is actually sunny out right now, can you believe that, but we are expecting a lousy day tomorrow, with rain forecast for the whole day. I still have no a/c in my store, they are also building 6 houses right on the corner next to the store, so yesterday you couldn't even get down the street because they are doing the sewer work now, which should continue for a few days. So now parking is impossible! But I did have a good day yesterday with sales, and also did a Girl Scout party in the afternoon. Still nothing is fixed, I don't know what is up with that! I got an advance on my claim a few weeks ago and lots of new product has been coming into the store, but now I have nowhere to put it. It has been a very confusing and depressing time for me, I have been searching my soul for answers as to whether to try and make a move or just throw the towel in. In the beginning, I had a very positive attitude about this, but now going on 3 months, it is hard to find the positive in the whole situation. Anyway, enough about that.

JoAnn - I am glad you guys are enjoying your cruise, but just remember the best vacation you will have this summer remains to be had. I am so ready to see all of you (hey it's a month from today) next month, I really can't wait, it does keep me going...

Jenny - Great going with the sale, tell Mark he might want to sell some of his old stuff to pay for that bar tab...

We had a little scare this morning. When I got up with Micco, Alex had left a message around 11:20 last night (of course we were sleeping) that her car had died out (again) on I4 on her way home from work. We felt so bad that we never heard her call, so we tried calling her cell this morning. It rang a few times and then went into a busy signal. After trying about 6 or 7 times, I got a little frantic, actually I started to lose it. Finally, I got through, of course I woke her up on her day off at 6:00 in the morning, but she was home, the car had started again, and she was fine. Then she had to calm me down, because by that point I was crying. It's a little scary when your daughter is over a thousand miles away and you are not quite sure where she is, and last you know she was stuck on the highway by herself at night.

And today is D DAY...as I write this, Briana is probably finding out the BAD news, she is sure she will be going to summer school...I will let you all know how that turns out, I am still keeping my fingers crossed, I know my day will probably be ruined, I might as well just get it in my head right now.

I have to go get ready for work, so I will talk to you soon.
