Kelsey's Pin Update!
Hi All!!--
Well, another day and you guys continue to amaze us!! As I said in a previous post these past few days have been more exciting and fun for us all than any Birthday or Xmas I can remember Kelsey continues to tell me "mommy I can't believe all of these people would want to give up some of their collection just for me!" You all too have really made an impression on her with the notes you send along with the pins---she really enjoys opening each package and reading your notes that you've sent along with them! The kids got out of school early here today because of the snow and wind and the first thing she asked me when I picked her up from school today was "did the mail come yet?"--She is really intrigued with looking at what state each of you is from---I think it amazes her that people from all over the country are sending her pins!!
Today she recieved 3 more packages and a total of 5 more pins!!!! Kelsey would like to say Thanks to Buzz2001,
DeDixie and the 3rd package we're not sure on the Dis name---
could'nt find it anywhere---but it is from Kathie from the Collector's
Board. Your special notes and little extras really made her day!!
All I can say is WOW!! I am still moved to tears every day there is a package in the mail for Kelsey and I never thought her loss would bring us all so much joy!!
Well, better get to bed its' been a long day but before I go just thought you would like to know that at bedtime tonight Kelsey's first prayer was for you all here. It was so special because instead of thanking God for all of her new pins ----I will quote her here-- she said-- "I thank you God for all of the people that are sending me pins"
It moves my heart as a mom. For you see this is so much more than a pin you are sending Kelsey but rather the impression you are all leaving on HER young mind and heart ! What more could a parent want for their child? Good night everyone and hope you all have a Great Day tomorrow!!!

Glad the package arrived.
I left one of my pin bags at Chef Mickey's some time ago, and was lucky that I went back and it was still there. Almost had a heart attack when I discovered I had left it there.
Kelsey's collection must be growing. Pretty soon you're going to need a pin bag. I have an extra I'm not using that she can have.

Kelsey's Daily Pin Update!
Well here we are another day and Kelsey recieved another package today!! I know the mailman is probably wondering what all of these packages are coming to Kelsey for. After all when you're 6 you don't get alot of mail but Kelsey has been getting more than mom and dad on some days lately!!!
Grateful thanks goes to ***pointandshoot*** today!! 2 more
pins to add to her growing collection and both of them were one's on her lanyard that were taken. Boy was she an excited little girl!! As I've said before she treasures ALL of the pins that are sent but each time she gets one that was on her stolen lanyard she jumps up and down and says "Yea I got one replaced!" Like I said please don't take that comment the wrong way because she is just as excited with all of the new pins she's gotten but even getting one of her original pins replaced is in some way to her like getting her lanyard back. I apologize too and failed to mention yesterday that she also recieved a beautiful red white and blue lanyard from Buzz2001--Thank you as she only has one other from Tiggerlover91 and now she'll have 2 to put some pins on.
Well, we can't begin to Thank you all enough and I know someday Kelsey will be able to repay the favor to someone else and that will be equally as special!!! Have a Good Night All!!

Kelsey's Daily Pin Update
Hi Everyone!--
I tried to post last night but could'nt with the boards being down. You all continue to amaze us and we really thought the pins would stop coming a few days ago but they are still coming!! Yesterday was 1 week since Kelsey recieved her first pin and you guys are unbelievable!!!
Kelsey recieved 2 packages yesterday She has 4 more pins from those surprises!! Kelsey would like to Thank
***doxdogy*** and ***Towncrier***( I hope that's the right
name?) She was very surprised and excited by your gifts!
Now, I have to tell you this because I want to completely get across to everyone how amazing you've all been.! Please remember Kelsey adores ALL the pins that have been sent but I wanted to add this because the generosity of all of the great Disers here has really went above and beyond what anyone could imagine.
The package that doxdogy sent is just another example of the true kindness that has been sent Kelsey's way along with those of you who have offered to get her a pin while you are at WDW Imagine my shock when I was told that one of Kelsey's original pins she lost was purchased for her off of ebay and was on it's way!!!! Truly Amazing and I was in tears once again! You are the most special people and have restored my faith in kindness, giving and love from others we don't even know! Kelsey is in shock that she is recieving from so many and she loves each and every pin. I can hardly wait for her to bring home the story she wrote to share with all of you! Keep in mind it probably won't be real long but it touches my heart that you have all touched her so much that she is remembering you and writing about you at school

We've definitely brought some new Disers to the boards so they could see for themselves what great people you all are!!

She has recieved packages for 9 days now and this is way past what we ever expected!! Kelsey's Daily Pin Update
Good Morning!!
Well, another update and I can't believe I'm still sending these out !! What a blessing and delight you all have been to us!! Just when I think the pins are done coming Kelsey gets another!! I don't quite think you all know the wonderful feelings of excitement, anticipation and pure joy you have given Kelsey----per her words yesterday she said "I was so sad when I lost my lanyard but now I have more pins than I lost and I can't believe it!" She keeps telling me over and over "I just can't believe this mommy!"
I think she was very overwhelmed last night because she
recieved 2 very special packages! The first was from***
~Kathie~*** whom already sent her some pins a few days ago.
Well this time she sent Kelsey a very nice pin bag for her to keep her pins in and included 6 more pins for her collection and a crown with princess rings and earrings! Kelsey could not believe it and said "but mommy she already sent me pins--I can't believe she would send me this too--that is so nice!!"
Thank you again Kathie and you can't begin to know how your gift touched Kelsey---wish you could have been here to see.
The second very special package was from ***Scratch42***!!
Now as I explain this keep in mind that she sent me a message saying that she was going on the Disney Cruise and that she would try to pick up a pin for Kelsey while she was sailing. Well, she sent me a pm Sunday telling us that a very special "magical" package would be arriving for Kelsey on Monday or Tuesday. Sure enough her package came yesterday and we knew it was hers because it was sent from St. Thomas as she said. Well, as Kelsey was opening the package she was expecting A pin from the cruise and as she started pulling things out we noticed there was a envelope that said "With a little love and Pixie Dust!". Attached to that envelope was a certificate from the Cruiseline that read
Disney Cruise Line--MAGICAL MEMORIES--Across the seas and over the years, may you always remember celebrating your Magical Memory with the Cast and Crew of Disney Cruise Line.
Then under that in big cap letters is her name KELSEY with a
caption that says ---"With a little bit of pixie dust we send this gift
to you from all your friends at the Disney Magic!"
Awarded by MERCHANDISE TEAM --Date of January 2004.
Included with the certificate in the package was a Disney Cruise Line Magical Memories button with Goofy on it and are you ready for this???----**** 12 Disney pins that I believe are from the castmembers with some of them being Lanyard Pin Series which from what I understand can only be gotten from a Cast member!!! ***WOW***!! What a special Disney moment Scratch42 made for Kelsey----again she was jumping up and down and squealing at the top of her lungs---I can't believe this i can't believe this!!!!! She got 18 more pins last night and I'm still in awe today walking around with my mouth open in wonder Kelsey says Thank you Scratch42 for also thinking of her in a special way!! Every package she has recieved has been so special to her and just when I think I've seen it all the wonderful Disers here completely amaze us again over and over!! This is one mom who has cried enough tears of joy in the last week to last a lifetime!!! Have a Great Day and don't forget You are All so very special

Yet another package and pin report! As I was heading out to the mailbox yesterday I reminded Kelsey that we may not be getting anymore packages and she said--"I know mommy". Well, I came back in with 2 packages in my hand and her eyes got big again and the squeals of excitement returned along with alot of jumps!!
I wish I could send a videotape to all of you to see her daily reaction--it never changes and she is just as excited whether it's one pin or a few---and in her words they are all "so cute!" I will send a seperate post about the 2nd package because I'm still trying to figure out who from the Dis boards sent it but she did get a total of 7 more pins yesterday!!!!
Kelsey sends a great big Thanks to ***daber***! She absolutely adores the pin you sent and the princesses are always a favorite so Thank you and God Bless you!!

Hi Everyone!!!
Wanted to update everyone on Kelsey's pins. Well, yesterday was the first day in 11 days that she did'nt recieve a package---we can hardly believe that she got mail for that many days and we were never expecting such an outpouring of giving, love and kindness from so many. I had prepared her that the packages would probably stop soon and when I went to get the mail yesterday and came in to tell her that there were'nt any packages she gave me a great Big smile and said "that's OK mommy because even if I got just one pin it would still be a blessing and I would have still been excited" You all don't know how blessed I am now as a mom to know that Kelsey has really learned such a wonderful and valuable lesson of giving just because someone who was'nt so nice took her lanyard and in turn all of you here turned that into a happy ending!
Imagine Kelsey's surprise when today she did get a package in the mail!! She definitely was not expecting any more and was soooo excited!! She said " I can't believe this I think I'm going to jump right out of this house!!!" This is all just way beyond what she can understand and is really leaving an impression on her that there are alot of really good people out there. I Thank you all for that. In the package she recieved today

Hope everyone had a great week! Kelsey has brought home her stories that she wrote in school and so I'm posting here the story she wrote about "The Lost Lanyard". Keep in mind this is a 6 yr olds perspective and spelling and writing, although I thought she did a great job! I know alot of you here wanted me to post her story so with Kelsey's permission and your requests we are happy to share!!! The thing that touches me the most is that she is writing about "giving" and she would'nt have had that opportunity if it were'nt for those of you here who reached out to her. This is definitely a testimony to how you have all made her feel and because of her writing about it I know the lesson of giving will be carried over into her life!! What more could any mom want?---This one here Thanks you again from the bottom of my heart!!
The Lost Lanyard

I lost my lanyard when I went to Flordai. I had a lot of pins on my
lanyard. Pepole are sending me pins. About fifty pepole are
sending me pins. Even a thirteen year old kid is sending me some
pins. All of the pepole sending pins are being very nice to me and
they are very special to me! I thank God for the pepole who are
sending me pins. I am happy and thankful to others that God has
blessed me with beutiful new pins

Well, again I am grateful to all here----that Kelsey would write about this in school tells me that your giving has really sunk in to her. And although there were'nt quite fifty people who sent pins the important thing is that it seemed like that many to Kelsey! She sure has been touched and very blessed because of the big family here!!

Well, we wanted to let everybody know that Lo and Behold yesterday Kelsey recieved 2 more packages!!!! She was very surprised because we have recieved most of yours already and she just was'nt expecting many more. It's so fun to see how excited she gets about pins now---she really loves them and thinks each and every one is beautiful!!!
Kelsey would like to send a special Thanks to ***DaveH***---she
loved your package!-- BTW--Nemo is fast becoming one of her favorites!! She loved the pins especially the character one of them on the monorail with her name on it!!! That's special and of course your buying her something while you were at WDW is such a kind and generous thing to do! Kelsey is so surprised that some of you are thinking of her while you are on your trips Also
a special Thanks from Kelsey goes to ***Dom13***---she also
loves the pins you sent too! Pumbaa was one of her original pins on her lanyard that was taken so she was very excited about him!! Thank you for giving to Kelsey out of your collection! I still continue to be amazed at all of your kind generosity and wonderful giving to Kelsey---when she opened these last two packages she was just as excited ( jumping up and down, squealing and clapping ) as she was with the very first ones we recieved Your giving just keeps coming and Kelsey is blessed every time

Kelsey's Daily Pin Update
Hi Everyone!
Well, a new week and yet one more package for Kelsey yesterday!! She sure is hoppin with excitement. Even though we've recieved most of your packages there are still a few coming here and there and it's the anticipation for Kelsey now! She tells me "I can't wait to see which pin I will get next!" I can't believe that out of all of the pins we only have one duplicate---Kelsey just loves!! looking at where your packages come from and reading your notes---and then after she reads the note to us it's "what did I get, what did I get!!??" We are going to start working on her map and she was so surprised when I told her that she has recieved packages from 17 states!!--and even St.Thomas from the cruise. I think it is that you are from all over the country and don't even know her that is touching her in a special way!! She is really excited to start learning where the states are this way!!
Kelsey sends special Thanks to ***AJA55***--she loved your
note and really loved the pin you sent!! It still amazes me the ways all of you have come up with to help Kelsey out. This mailing was a pin that AJA55 got with a video--a small gesture of one pin was like a hundred dollar golden pin to her!! She really gets so excited---it's so fun to see !! Thanks for Blessing our week--Have a Great one!!

Kelsey's Daily Pin Update
Good Morning!
I had intended to get this posted last night but things have been busy lately. Yet another update and packages to our surprise!! When I went to get the mail yesterday I did'nt tell Kelsey I was going out and on my return in to the house I heard squeals from inside!! I came in the door and from just the look on her face I said "how did you know there were packages for you today" and she said" cause I was watching out the window and saw 2 packages in your hand!!" Her anticipation and excitement is still going strong!! All Thanks to you guys here---I just still can't believe all of this and DH is shocked too.
Special Thanks from Kelsey today go to ***Maridw*** and
***Iamsorcerermickey***!!! Maridw sent a special
MVMCP Snowglobe pin and a Stainglass Tinkerbell---Kelsey was elated and just loves them both!! Tinkerbell was one of her favorite characters this time and we have been to 2 MVMCP's so she thought that was pretty neat too! Both pins were beautiful!!
The second package from Iamsorcerermickey was pretty special too!! This package came from a family of 3 children who all gave Kelsey a pin from their own collection Once again I was brought to tears . Thank you to each one of them for being angels to Kelsey!! Each one of them wrote a special note to Kelsey which she was so excited to read---so excited I think sometimes she loves them more than the pins!!-- and she said to me "Oh mommy how sweet"---I lost it at that point One of the pins that they sent was pretty exciting to Kelsey because it was the Mad Tea Party pin which was one on her original lanyard!!
I can't begin to express to you all what a special time you have made this in Kelsey's life--She will never forget those of you with your kind words and gifts of pins---I know she will take this with her forever More and more everyday I am overwhelmed as a mom for her little girl because of all of you and your outpouring of Love but I also Thank God for putting things right for this to be a lifetime lesson for everyone to see and know that there are some really wonderfully special people in this world!! It's so fun to check my post everyday and have a note or two from those of you here---your responses back are just as uplifting for us too!!!

I agree with you on the person who took Kelsey's lanyard and I hope in some way they are able to read this thread and know what they've done. To DaveH---Thanks so much for your help with the pics of Kelsey I know when we get them in I will be excited for everyone to see who they have blessed! And Thank You too for posting a pic of Kelsey's Thank You note---she has so diligentely worked on them and I am very proud of her---she was soooo excited when I showed her your post that you had put it on here!!! Now I know how everyone here who has sent pins feels when they read that Kelsey has recieved their package---It is nice to hear from some of those here who have recieved our notes too!!!
To Tiggerlover91---Thanks for your kind words!!! You've all definitely made Kelsey feel SPECIAL too!! and we know that He had a plan and has unfolded it through so many here.

amazingly touched by even children giving some of their collections to Kelsey. It makes me cry every time and I feel so good that their are many wonderful parents out there that have taught their children the '"good in life" and "giving to others"!! Kelsey truly appreciates you giving these to her from your collection!! She has told me that now if anyone else loses their pins that she too can help them ---What more could I possibly want out of this?--Makes a mom feel sooo good!!! In this one package Kelsey recieved 6 more pins and the most beautiful part was that she recieved it on Valentine's Day and inside there was a handmade card with Minnie on the front with Happy Valentines Day!!! She was sooo excited about your card---and the pins too of course---she loved them all!!!!
I wanted to let you all know too that there should be some pics of Kelsey for you to look at in my posts pretty soon and maybe a link to others also so you can be on the lookout for them. I can't wait for you to see her smiling face and later on I'll try to get a pic posted when we get all of the pins put together on the posterboard so you can see all of the pins. notes and her map---This has become a daily project for her and she is having so much fun!!!-----You are some Great Great people and we appreciate you all so very much!!!
