Hey guys I have a little story. :earsboy: and my :earsgirl: went on our honeymoon to the most magical, happiest place on Earth on 4-5-04 - 4-10-04. We stayed at the CBR and we were completely blown away. Everything was perfect, the weather, the crowds until good friday  and everyone was saying congradualtions to us every where we went. The only thing we didn't get to do is any of the shows, ride rapids at AK, Who wants to be a millionaire at MGM, Big Thuder Mt. Railroad, Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh at MK, and most of Future World at Epcot. DW was getting sick on that day. We didn't really get a chance to go through all the countries and explore. :( . We did get to see Wishes which was one of the best along with Spectro. The Big Bad Wolf ate DW's veil and then spit it out..it was great. We saw Phillarmagic...the best...and saw Illuminations...even though we staked out our spot for nearly 2 hours...At which time I went to Norway and rode the ride. It was a blast. And since my DW wanted to sit there, I raced back the other way to Canada and got her a beaver tail. That was mmmmmmm good. On our last day, keep in mind we were there for 5 days, as they came and got our luggage and as we were getting ready to leave CBR for the last time, Tears:charac2: started to come down my face as we closed the door for the last time. We rented a water mouse and put the pain off for a little bit and then went to DTD where we spent a lot of money... We raced back to our hotel, where our driver picked us up. As we left to go to the airport we said by to Disney. After we got home and we were glad to be home, it didn't really hit me unilt the day before and morning of me having to go back to work. More tears formed and I started crying. When we did get home from our flight we started talking again and decided we needed 1 more trip before we started moving again. That put a smile on my face and I know deep down inside a smile on my DW's face. Well today is the day. I booked us a trip to go from 12-4-04 - 12-10-04. Leaving on a Saturday morning and not coming back until Friday night. This is going to be so awsome to be at Disney around Christmas time. I guess I just wanted you guys to know and see if any of you had any other magical memories or stories you might want to share. It might be about the 1st time you went like we did or many times over. But please share and remember, if you believe in the magic the magic will believe in you.Hey guys I have a little story. :earsboy: and my :earsgirl: went on our honeymoon to the most magical, happiest place on Earth on 4-5-04 - 4-10-04. Your story was so MAGICAL it appears TWICE in the same message! ;)

I absolutely agree with you... my DW and I (still newlyweds since 1977) live in Kansas City, MO area and still visit WDW at least yearly (3 times in 2003.)

You have picked a GREAT time to return... we have done early Dec. trips and just LOVE the low crowds and the early decorations.

Be sure and schedule a dinner-show at Hoop De Doo Revue (about $50 each, but it is a BLAST!!) AND, take the Hayride right after the Hoop (under $10 each.) Its a very neat trip with real horses pulling the cart thru Ft. Wilderness... quiet and romantic. (Or for about $35 you can take a private CARRIAGE ride in same area... extra romantic.

AND take WARM clothes... it can be windy and COLD in December (we KNOW this first-hand.)

We take EVERY KIND of clothing for Dec. weather: Shorts, heavy Sweatshirts, jeans, zip-on nylon "exercise warm-up outfits" and even LONG-UNDERWEAR.
The temp can VARY so much that in the afternoon heat we wear Shorts and Tees and as the sun goes down, we zip-on our nylon "warm-up pants" and Extra Sweatshirts and nylon jackets (even EAR-MUFFS!)
Carry in your "survival-wear" each morning in a backpack and STORE it in a locker during the day... don't CARRY it all day... just go and change when you need to. The locker-fees are "transferable" between the Theme Parks (on the SAME day) if you HOP, so it keep the locker ticket.
This sounds like too-much-fun... maybe we'll see you down there this early December!

Thanks for sharing your story! I know exactly how you feel about leaving Disney... I always get sad on the last day of our trip :) If you're going in December make sure you get tickets to Mickey Very Merry Christmas Party, we went last December and had a blast! I loved the parades, fireworks and going to the park at night :)

Thank you so much and sorry about the double post in the same story..lol....We cannot wait. Now even though there is like just over 7 months to go....the time will fly by. Try planning a wedding and getting all the Disney info down at the same time. LOL.

On Dec 5th where some lime green and maybe you will bump into some other Diser's,many Diser's on board are going to be at WDW during that time frame.Try to get tickets for a MVMCP and don't miss Candlelight Processional,Osborne Lights. To us this is most special time of the year to visit WDW.I must warn you visit this time of year and you may be back each year to soak up the joy of visiting at the first part of December. We went first part of December in 1992 and have been back each year since, at first part of December. So be ye forwarned matey's.::yes:: pirate: :wave2:

that's what were hoping....We diffenitly getting tickets to MMVMCP and going to the osborne lights. We can't wait. I just booked ps for the hoop doo review for the night we arrive. We were going to be there on the 5th, but I wanted to wake up and say hey were in Disney. If you know what I mean....

Better than hubby and my honeymoon--we went on a Carnival cruise--and let's just say it wasn't "magical"...We loved Disney--but it was always there--we took it for granted and didn't do it for our honeymoon--but we did go 6 months later at the beginning of december for a short vacation. Much more enjoyable than our cruise.

Enjoy your SECOND Honeymoon :)

Also--you can get a PS dinner at EPCOT for the Candlelight processional--it is a package (at least they had it in the past)...costs a little extra--but you can get your romantic Epcot dinner and then get to sit in a reserved section at the processional--we did that--we made our PS early enough b/c there is a line just for the reserved section when you get there--but it gets to go in first before the regular line (super long line that one). We were right up front for Cindy Williams (Shirley as in Laverne &) to read the Christmas story. Spectacular. We ate at the Rose and Crown in the patio area. French bistro is lovely (didn't care for chefs restaurant downstairs) and have heard excellent things on other EPCOT restaurants as well.

Thanks so much for the wonderful story. The line about the magic is so true. My coworkers think I have blown a gasket because of the way I talk about Disney.

I have been in December several times and the last trip it was about 40degrees at night and we were freezing. Pack warm clothes.

You might try to go over to WL and see there lobby at Christmas time. It is absolutely beautiful. You might even think about staying there if you're not already. They have that big warm cozy fireplace in case it is cool at night.

Best of luck to you and your wife.
