If anyone was at the game or had the opportunity to see it on regional TV, you know when the cheerleaders proceed the players onto the field, carrying those huge flags?? Well, my son was carrying the "A"!! I get chills just thinking about it.
He tried out for the cheerleading team on a dare! He'd never cheered, never done gymnastics (in fact, in high school he was the starting offensive and defensive tackle for the varsity football team). But he made it -- along with the scholarship and stipend for books, it's been a great deal. And he loves it!

I wish she would have tried out for one of the squads - but she wanted to concentrate on her studies the first year.
