I know we have been tossing around ideas on a dress theme for the event. Raul is set with his loin cloth which I can't wait to see (and I have plenty of space on the memory cards in my camera so everyone should be able to see it!)

How about for this for those of us that aren't ready to show our assets in a loin cloth- we meet earlier in the day for a light lunch (hey, we need to save our appetite to make the most of that buffet) and then we head over to Africa and get our faces painted in that little booth. They have some pretty wild designs and it might make for a cool group picture with "Pinzan- Pinboy of the Jungle" :D

It's a cool idea! I have 2 questions, however:

1. Do anybody have any idea how much it costs? It's already costing a wad to go.

2. Has anybody had it done before? I have pretty sensitive skin, and it will already be pretty hot in April - even at night! And it'll be muggy, too. Will I be able to stand it?

I guess it wouldn't hurt to get something small - not like I have to cover my whole face or anything.

No, Raul, that is *not* your que to jump in...

find out all of those things...since we lucky yocals...err..locals live her, we can coral a CM and find out..

Or try it out first..(I pick Crystal) and see what happens..We will be at MK tomorrow, but I'm sure guest ralations
can call over there to AK and ask...then we send Crystal..

Whatcha' think???

We had Megan's face painted in MGM in late November. It was a whole face kitty-cat Xmas theme and it cost $8.00. It lasted into the next day when she decided in the middle of our fancy French DIS-Con dinner that she wanted it washed off - NOW! Of course I abliged to keep the peace, lol.

You would think if it doesn't bother a childs face, they we should be all right..So I guess Crystal is off
the hook....gee...I was even going to give her money for a cold drink....

:pinkbounc Oh Laureen! I love that idea:pinkbounc

And by the way, no loin cloth for me anyway, no way!
Now my hubby...that would be cute. But there's no way!
he's not quite the adventurer that Ed is.

If it doesn't cost much, I'd love to do maybe at least something around the eyes.

See you there!
Blessings,
Winnie

Laureen,
Great idea!!! I'm totally up for that. TarzanEd can have a complete entourage of Exotic Janes to accompany him through the event. Keep me posted on the details.

Great idea Lauri!! And don't forget we DIS ladies will be wearing our lime green shirts from the DS. If you don't have your's yet, your store is out of them, or don't know which one I'm refering to, PM myself or Tinkerbel129. Between us we should be able to get it for you.

Lori also thought that khaki shorts or pants would be appropriate, keeping with the "being on a dig" atmosphere.

One of our DIS ladies is also looking into a little added "something" that would be equivalent to the boas for the Princess Ball. When we know it's available and the $$ (it won't be expensive), we'll let you know what it is.

Just a little bump up!!!

Just thought I would let you all know the v-neck lime green shirt has three small sparkle Mickey heads in the middle and retails for $18.00 is available at most of the Disney Stores across the US and Canada.

To check out the prices on the loin cloths, and the Jane animal skins...

Also the animal skin mickey ears.. will post a report on Monday..anything else i need to look for??
