With The Grinch being a monster of a success in the box office can we expect a Grinch ride to be put on the fast track?

My turn for a rumor!!! Okay, I can't do it, I just can't go through with it, blah, blah, blah...

Anyway, anything's possible, but I wouldn't expect much until the movie really proves itself. It did have a great weekend. But if something was to be considered, it will probably be at least 2 or 3 years off, especially if they follow plan for next year. The only way that something could happen sooner is if they copied an existing ride system (MIB from CITH), and that's unlikely. Then there will be all of the apporvals that we will need from Mrs. Geisel.

It will be fun to think of concepts for a Grinch ride, but please keep them to yourselves. If you post a really cool idea that might have a chance, they won't use it. WDW and Universal will not accept or use creative input from anyone outside the company.

Earl, you said "if they follow plan for next year". Does this mean that there are no plans to add anything next year or that Grinch is just not in the plans.

The perception is that Universal overinvested in IOA and the accompanying debt load has them reluctant to add anything major in the near future. While I understand that you don't what to be specific about particulars, can you at least shed some light on the direction of things. It is very dark out here and the batteries in my flashlight are getting low.

So far there is something on the books, but very tentative. Yes, IOA and the expansion was very expensive, so let's just say that they're not going to be foolish.

We wouldn't actually have to kill you if we said anything. Don't forget, we have the flux capacitor, Mr. Fusion, and the DeLorean. We just time warp you off to another dimension and leave you....it's more PC than death.

Can you tell us what island might be getting a new attraction? Or maybe a hint as to what the new attracation could be? Even better why don't you make it a game for us. Each week/month you can give us another hint as to what ground breaking news is going on behind closed doors. Just enough information to keep us coming back for more...Come on, be a sport What do you say?

Earl told me all the Universal secrets, but he zapped me with the MiB flashy thing and I forgot them all.

No really, if Earl won't divluge, then we have no choice but to respect his wishes. Asking him numerous times for information on future rides will not get it out of him any easier. If he said no before, he will say no again. There are interesting rumors out there about future rides, but we should never think these rumors will come true until we get the official word.
