Hey Disney/Alexa, Magic Band+, interactive statues. All the promises of 50th Anniversary.

Is Hey Disney in rooms yet? If not then when is this coming? When are the new Magic Bands coming out? Are the 50th statues interacting yet? I feel lied to. Can anyone help with these? Don’t get me started on Dining Plan. Someone said announcements were coming end of March. Anyone heard anything?

They'll probably still be released for the 50th ... Disney is going to extend the 50th for the next few years at this rate

DFB mentioned in their blog that Valentines Day Mickey Minnie plushies with a big “2022” on them just arrived this week at WDW and looked so sad abandoned in a bin in one of the stores. So if that’s any indication…

On a serious tip they also reported that they saw CMs installing tech around the golden statues that are presumably supposed to interact with the new magic bands.

…But no news that I’ve heard of on the actual new bands, the dining plan, and no Alexa in my room this January.

Cool, so Disney’s 48-49 (at least those had free magic bands and magical express) birthdays are the same as this 50th. And people keep shoveling over money to them, so there’s no accountability for the missed promises.
