Last year the stay/play/dine came out like the 10th or 11th of October to the general public. Surely we will hear something soon. We are not going until later in the year but I am waiting to hear for a friend.

Well I literally just got home a few hours ago from my two week Disney vacation. Not hearing anything out there; however, the promos for the early parts of the year tend not to get much attention....so I may hear something or not, depending on how things are going.

The free dining continues to be the promo that gets all the attention, as you all know by now.

It looks like if you view the Canadian version of their site, the "book by" date for the current free dining promo goes out to November 15...that's quite interesting.

I'm just getting back into the swing of things after a nice two week vacation at Walt Disney World.

When I got back home, I was then asked to co-write an article with Dave on prospects of Free Dining in 2014 for an upcoming magazine...more on that later. I just finished that one up and sent it off.

Needless to say, it's been a busy month of September for me, but things are starting to settle down....a little.

So, I'm sure you've already heard, but Vacation_Junkie leaked both the room discount and stay/play/dine back on the 17th. They first went out as PINs back in July, for those of you lucky enough to get PIN codes (I never have), but now everyone will be able to book them.

I've been going to Disney World for nearly 40 years and never got a PIN of any kind. Probably because they know I keep going huh?

No pin for me, either. Ever.

For what it's worth, my sources have confirmed that two deals will come out October 8. They can't confirm the detail that others have posted already (e.g. RO and P/S/D, the two periods, etc.) but there's no reason to think that the other posters are anything but right!

Aside from the fact that this mirrors the PINs released in July, I have no info. But generally if it says through March 2, that would include that day.

When/if I know anything I'll let you know. I've been out of the loop ya know. But what a relaxing time it was being out of the loop!!!

Hey guys. I'm still around hit or miss. I got a pinched nerve in my neck a few weeks ago and have been in physical therapy. This has limited my online activity and severely limited my digging around and chatting with sources of information.

With that said, I have otherwise not heard of anything not already mentioned. However, take that with a big grain of salt at this point. I hope to be pain free and back in form soon and I can't wait for that to happen. These sleepless nights and painful days are for the birds.

As for the next discounts, you're mainly looking at an extension of the room only discounts, with perhaps slightly different percentages. Remember that time is a very busy period, so discounts won't be as good. There could be some S/P/D sprinkled in a bit here and there.

Of course, don't forget the all important PIN codes and be sure to call once in a while to see if you have one attached to your name. Those are the golden ticket and range anywhere from a larger discount, all the way to free dining....so keep an eye out for those.
