That would have been a bummer! I haven't pulled that one yet, but I have walked away from my camera bag several times at WDW and had to go back and get it. Sigh.

So...would you recommend a couples only trip? Was it worth it? Did you miss your son too much?
We're afraid we'd spend the whole time going "Wouldn't the kids LOVE this?"

Well, that and, dh says if we get a chance to get away, he doesn't want to go to WDW.
But I'm still thinking it would be fun.

Yes I would recommend at couples only trip. It was a lot different without Declan but a good different. We went at a different pace and still enjoyed ourselves. There were times when we missed him and thought that he would like something but that just helps with the decision to go again.

Tell your dh to go for it.

I'm a little dissapointed as I love your pics, but I'm happy to hear the camera was safe and sound. You must have been so worried. I was at AK EMH last year and it was nice, so peaceful at night. We went with the intention of going on Everest but we chickened out. _________ insert your laughter. I'm a wimp, I m..a..y try it next year. My only regret was we were too late to get dessert at Rainforest Cafe. They were closing as we got there.

Just checking in to say that you'll have to find someone else to aggravate this week, since I'll be gone.

Have you guys started freezing up there already? We were at 19 degrees one morning this week! Not good for me. I'm just a permanent popsicle all winter. I don't know if I could ever make it any further north than right here.

Anyway, you guys have a good week doing whatever it is you do up there - moose riding, maple syrup making, ice skating, making your red and black plaid shirts, and all that stuff. We'll think of you when we're in Canada, Epcot. I'm sure we'll take some silly pictures and dedicate them to you guys.

I still love that fence, by the way. If I ever move to Canada, I will have one of those.

We're going to probably get internet once or maybe twice during the trip for bill paying and communication purposes, so if/when we do, we'll check in. Have a good week!

We had a bit of snow over the weekend but very little compared to other places around us. It is suppose to rain later this week.

I guess it is time to put this baby to bed.

August 12th was our last day and we didn't have much time to do anything as our flight was around 11 am. We went to Old Port Royale for breakfast and a last look around. Tried to use our last snack credits on some chocalate bars but the CM charged the room instead.

We made our way back to the room and decided to just grab our bags and walk to the Custom House. It wasn't far and we hadn't done much walking this week.

As we waited for Sam (tiffanny town car) to arrive, I took a few pictures.

The last one was my artistic attempt for the morning.

Our trip back to Bangor was uneventful. We had seat-back TVs on the leg to Boston. One of rocked the In-flight trivia game .

We beat a storm out of Boston and arrived back in Bangor and into the great wet and cold weather that hadn't left the area. We left the next morning to drive back to Moncton to pick up Declan and were home by the early evening. (And Declan still doesn't know.)

Overall we had a great trip. It was great to get away with just my lovely wife. We had a relaxing trip and you never know, we may get to do it again.

Any questions before the test? Didn't we tell you there would be a test.

Thank you. Yes it is; the doors you see near the center of the picture are the main doors.

It was a nice treat to see you on page one again. An update always means great pictures. There is beauty in all of Disney's resorts, from the architecture to the landscaping to the decorations, and then you add in blue skies, swaying palm trees, shimmering water, colorful flowers... it's just awesome!

Have you got your countdown going for the summer trip - the one you can talk about in front of the man-cub? I guess we'll start an official countdown when the new year begins. Right now, I'm just counting down four and a half days until we're out of school for two weeks!

I hope all is well with all of you, and that you have plans for both fun and relaxation over the holidays.

we haven't started the official countdown yet. The unofficial countdown usually starts when we book the trip; while the official countdown starts at 100 days.

It looks like we will both be off at the end of the week as well. We are hoping for a nice holiday as long as our screwy weather changes. Yesterday it was about 10 degrees Fahrenheit. Today it is suppose to be about 50. Although, we had to wait about an hour for a salt truck so we could get out of neighbourhood.

I hope that you have some wonderful plans for the Holidays as well. We haven't seen a Disney-themed dinner in awhile. Maybe Christmas dinner???

Our current plan is to travel again in August 2009. Right after Pooksma gets back from a teachers conference in Memphis and right before I leave for The Summer Canada Games. It is going to be a busy summer.
